  1. I wonder how The God of Israel feels about all of these man made sacred ordinances? Remember the the great whore of Babylon that is drunk off the blood (sacrifices) of the saints in the book of Revelations.

  2. They must didn’t seal his eyes good enough, because when he took that ring off it was some peeping going on… might’ve been a camera illusion, but I’ve never seen that before👀👀👀

  3. SAINTS OF GOD !!!…..SEE THIS FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH !!! THIS IS ALL ABOUT HONOR !!!……..IF THE FAITHFUL HONOR THE BISHOP'S AS THE ECCLESIASTICAL " ROYALTY " OF THE CHURCH, THEN A SERVICE LIKE THIS IS MOST FITTING 👌!!!…

  4. Ain't no need to waist good gold! Lol I'm pretty sure the morticians or grave diggers would have robbed the grave of the jewelry…. they may not have… but you got to know that this happens often… why was it necessary for a man to pull the mans garb and jewelry off of him while in the casket??? They should have already thoes things in the presentation box before he was rolled in…. it was like a demented demotion because the preacher was literally taking things off him…👀

  5. To settle all of this, the reason why this is done is to give these things to HIS FAMILY as memorabilia. Second of all, he will not need the pectoral cross or the episcopal ring in Heaven. In Heaven, God is THE ONLY BISHOP and no matter what Bishop Alphonso Scott has accomplished here on earth(and we give him respect, accolades, and we honor his position and accomplishments here), the ONLY position he will hold in Heaven is being a Son of God and a heavenly worshipper. Thirdly, when a person is LEGALLY consecrated a Bishop in the Lord’s church, their name is registered in the Vatican and it will hold weight in the community they serve FIRST. If that person is LEGALLY and DULY consecrated, word gets around quickly of their legitimacy and name, so as a result, that person and the church they pastor draw both GOOD and BAD people and publicity IN DROVES. Fourth and final thing, the pectoral cross and the episcopal ring are not cheap, they hold THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in value. So, by ANY chance that they are LEFT ALONE or LEFT UNGUARDED or UNSUPERVISED(for instance…..LEFT ON THE BODY OF A DECEASED BISHOP IN A CEMETERY), people will attempt to, by ANY means, dig up the grave and exhume the body to steal those things and make a profit. Grave robbers exist for THAT VERY PURPOSE. So can we stop being so disrespectful and recognize that a family has lost their patriarch, a church has lost their leader, and an organization has lost their general?? Let’s be human again, shall we??

  6. First off how about all of you mind the business that pays you as well as study! This is not out of order, this isn’t for show and tell, just because the fellowship/organization your apart of doesn’t do this you can’t call it wrong or out of order and you think God is tripping over a cross, a ring, a stole and zucchetto coming off a body? Y’all think God gone damn somebody to hell over that? 😂 anyway do your research and study the bishopric until then shut up!

  7. This is abnormal to me, I've never seen such blatant Catholicism being done in a "Christian church" And I'm not even gonna mention the fact that this dude is so comfortable with touching a dead body. If I were the successor guy, I would've told him to put all that jewelry right back on him, especially now that it has all that mortician make-up on it lol. I would've burned that box when I got home. I know you lyin'!!!!

  8. I think ritual is important. So are traditions. Today we mock traditions, but they are what bind generations together. More traditions and rituals in the black community would help the younger generation relate to the older generation. The community should decide on what traditions and rituals to revive or decide to create new ones. I think it will create a sense of brother/sisterhood.
