That child ended up being autistic and is now in their teen years despite prayers, because damages from the womb is hard to heal. Their siblings, whose pregnancies were easy and for whom I was jumping everywhere, are all fine. Sometimes, the child is just targeted, and they use one parent's ignorance and wounds. I guess the best thing to do is to pray, never respond, and not invest our emotions in such behavior; seek help/therapies/counseling right away/don't bottle up and talk to others about our struggles; and remember a spouse is not God. If something feels wrong, seek help….
