When Steve Lawson preached this sermon God's spirit fell upon that place. I have never been under such preaching were I was so gripped and overwhelmed by the Spirits power. It felt like the walls of the church were going to fall down. This message is so convicting and inspiring. I want to live like he did! No doubt Whitefield was far from perfect & had some different ideas that I wouldn't agree with, but God USED HIM powerfully & he lived set on fire by God! I want that too!!!
I first heard the name Whitefield with brother Paul Washer, since then I decided to find out who this man was. Thank GOD I found this video. This world needs more Whitefield, all I can say is: LORD Here I am.

Here's one big question about George Whitefield. WHY DON'T I OFTEN HERE PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IT? Also, WHY DON'T I OFTEN HERE PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THE GREAT AWAKENING?
@MyNameZebra I think it's because our generation knows nothing about revival. Adding to that, i do not beleive that we have one preacher today who stands on the same platform as whitefield did. Halellulya!!!!
I'll be honest, let us be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus that ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. The preachers mentioned seemed to walk in the unity of the vocation they were called per Ephesians 4: 1-6. Let all be according to Christ Jesus. I detect many statements highlighted things according to John Calvin. I wholeheartedly follow Jesus Christ and His Gospel not the doctrines of men. Let us walk worthy of the Lord …and increasing in the knowledge of God. Colossians 1:10
