Charles Fox Parham, “the father of Pentecostalism,” came to Zion City Illinois in 1906 right after the fall of John Alexander Dowie.

  1. I am so grateful for your valuable information, and I am trying to read, listen, and learn as much as each day allows. When you say, “Parham added healing to the Gospel…”
The Gospel does speak about healing, but are you saying ‘physical healing’ ceases to exist now, or that ‘physical healing’ is completely up to God, He still heals today but only according to His will, and many times He chooses not to physically heal? I am sure you are inundated with questions, you don’t need to respond, just having your channel as a resource is extremely helpful!
Thank you again for all your hard work!

  2. You are performing a much-needed service in helping to educate people. I noticed in one of the articles, it was noted that women in particular were responding to these false teachers. “The woman was first deceived…” God wisely put wives under the guidance and protection of their husbands. Women have thrown off this protection which has led to what we see today – Chaos in the home, fatherless children growing up feeling alone and unloved, and turning to alcohol, drugs, and rebellion of all kinds. Do men bear some responsibility? Certainly, but women are by no means innocent.

  3. What is with 'uh.um..ah…um…uh ..and uh..and uh"? Assemblies of God historians can refute a number of these arguments that Pentecostalism is a false movement. Pentecostal phenomenon was occurring in Western North Carolina in 1890s amongst Baptists. Well established Pentecostal churches have been established in Cleveland TN.

  4. Brother, GREAT work! I am a missionary who trains pastors all over the world. MUCH of what we do is untangle the doctrinal mess that Parham and the movements founded upon him have propagated and shipped out to innocent people who simply need the gospel of Christ. Thank you for doing the hard research in this presentation. Much appreciated. Helpful for the arsenal.

  5. God is not a God of Chaos and disorder. What again are the fruits of the Spirit.? 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another –Galatians 5:22-26

  6. Amazing….How history continues to repeat itself. People never learn! The Global Crisis is NOT Climate Change but STUPIDITY! Gratitude for the exceptional research that you do for your presentations. Hopefully, the sheepal will pay attention! You and Robin give a new meaning to “Mission Impossible” God Bless you!❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

  7. The 1st time i was in a pentacostal "church" they were carrying on like they are at the 20 minute mark, it was terrifying & all i could feel was evil in that place. I realized that my God wasn't found in darkness & this was absolutely of the devil, i was 13 @ the time.
If you follow the teachings of Dowie, does that make you a Taoist?
