The warmth in these songs is incredible. The piano and organ combination is exactly right for this style. It makes me think of hearing gospel records playing in the kitchen. This is beautiful work.

Here in OKC,Ok. I'm 83 yrs. young, I try to listen to these wonderful songs some at night before I go to bed, they give me such peace & remembrance of my precious mother getting us 10 children up to eat home cooked breakfast before all of us getting ready to go 5 miles to our little country Baptist Church in our old worn out pickup, Sunday morning , Sunday night & Wednesday night, what strength God gave this wonderful mother & when mom could not attend our father would take us but drop us off at the doors of church then finally after much prayer our sweet dad was saved because our great preacher who kept coming out to visit our dad while he would be working on his tractor & kept inviting him to church. So never stop praying for your loved ones, these songs brings back such wonderful memories, I still thank God for the way we were raised & for our parentsβ¦..God blessed them both with long lives, mom went to Heaven when she was almost 90 yrs. old & dad lived to be 99.5yrs. I thank "YOU TUBE" for letting everyone listen to these old gospel songs & to the people that made them happen, God's blessings to all involved!!! Keep them coming!!!!
When the churchβs stopped the old gospel music and also stopped preaching the whole council of GodI knew it was only time when people would stop going to church. What a shame

What an incredible feeling this music creates. It is peaceful enough to calm the mind and emotional enough to touch the deepest parts of the heart. I can imagine these songs being played during quiet evenings when families gathered together and shared stories from their lives. Those moments may be gone, but the music keeps their spirit alive. May everyone who sees this be surrounded by love, peace, and beautiful memories.
