I am not surprised at how pastors are so filthy rich these days. Politicians are known to use bank accounts of well known churches to engage in illicit transfer of ill-gotten wealth out of the country, to foreign bank accounts. Then they receive a hefty commission after each successful transfer.. 😉
People often ask why some people succeed while others struggle. What many don’t see is the sacrifice behind success.
Money didn’t just walk into his life. While other people were eating, he was fasting. While others were sleeping, he was praying and seeking God’s face, not only for himself but for other people and his family.
The part many people leave out of the story is how many students he sponsored through school, how many children who were not even his biological children he helped educate, and how many lives he uplifted along the way.
The wealth he has today is not simply about donations; it is the result of giving, serving, and investing in people. When you genuinely uplift others, many times they will come back and uplift you.
People need to stop holding others responsible for their poverty and begin taking responsibility for their own future. If someone can come from nothing and become something, then you can do the same.
Look at Elon Musk. While he’s building technology to go into space, do you know how much time, energy, and money he has invested to make that happen? Yes, there are people in America who don’t have enough food to eat, but every person has a different calling and assignment.
If nobody had created platforms like YouTube, many of us would not have the opportunities we have today.
Instead of constantly calculating what other people are not doing, get up and do what God has called you to do. Work hard, build something meaningful, help others, and change the next generation.
Your assignment is not to envy someone else’s success. Your assignment is to discover your purpose and walk in it.
