I have long been excited for the release of this study Bible. I have been a long time viewer of Pastor Matthew Everhard’s channel, …

  1. Thank you very much for the review! As far as I know you have the first one in existence too! You should keep that one. I don't think any other reviewer got it before you did. You did an amazing review of the Bible too. It was a great honor to work on this project.

  2. I've been hearing about this Bible for a couple of years now it seems like, and I an super excited to finally see it! I am a follower of Everhardt as well. I might need this one. I say that about way too many Bibles, but… I might need this one.

  3. Isn't a bible titled Jonathan Edwards… sort of an oxymoron…. since… J. Edwards…. preached from the King James Translation..?..

Oh No… that would be like a Matthew Henry Study Bible in NKJV…

I also think it's a slap in the face to have a MacLaren Study Bible in the NKJV as well..

    why do publishers do this..?..

  4. Have you also done a review on the Spurgeon Study Bible? As a Baptist, I would be more interested in it over this one and would like to hear your thoughts on it, especially in comparison.

  5. I have been waiting for this Bible since when Dr Everhard announced he was going to produce this Bible…I’m just waiting for it to be delivered..thanks so much for giving me a sneak peak of this beautiful Bible❤️🙏😊🇨🇦🇺🇸

  6. I'd like to know the font size as an older Christian women , I think they're leaving out a large demographic of the population , when they do not have a decent size font .
Hoping publishers would understand , just because we are 60 and up doesn't mean we stop studying and reading God's word. Ty for your review. 🥰

  7. It looks beautiful; but, reading Jonathan Edward's writing is very inspirational in themselves. His works are easily obtainable. Why not read Edward's himself with your Bible nearby? Rather than having someone choose what you read?

  8. Indeed a beautifully executed Bible. I deeply appreciate Jonathan Edwards, more than able to express.
Super bummed his sermons are in smaller text.
Would also appreciate and even expect many more of his sermons (even just those cited in a one-page outline you showed) to be there.

Not pleased it's in NKJV at all though. It'd be appropriate to be a Jonathan Edwards Study Bible in KJV really.

I earnestly prefer no red text with Christ Jesus' words, as every word in Scripture is Christ Jesus' words. 🙂 And, the black text is clear for people to read.

It's a very beautiful production. And I so appreciate Jonathan Edwards' vital sermons and writings.

In consideration, I will rather keep saving for a large print Westminster Reference Bible with Metrical Psalms and keep looking for books of Jonathan Edwards' own sermons and writings, myself anyway.

You made a really nice review here, Colton. It's very, very tempting, but LORD willing, I'll save for the Westminster Reference Bible with Metrical Psalms and his full available sermons and writings.
    Thank you so much!
