I apologize for being too late to recognize that the long shirt Aster is wearing (in the lagoon scene) is actually Ellie's. What a detail! This movie is 10/10 brilliant.
What I really loved about this is not just the LGBTQ representation but also the depiction of friendship, real friendship, which is so lacking in so much else
I have never cried like I did at the end of this movie. I've never felt so seen and understood by anything. It felt like Alice Wu took me apart, piece by piece and made something that would fill up every empty hollow in my heart. The way love is portrayed in this movie with all the ups and downs was the most beautiful thing. This felt like reading a love letter from myself. Thank you Alice Wu.
I honestly was bored and wanted to watch an "I'm not like other girls, I read books" movie ironically. But man this movie was unexpectedly amazing. Watched it 3 times this week and each time I watched it, I cried, blushed like crazy, or laughed my head off more.

this the comfort movie of mine its so beautiful cinematogarphy wise and the acting and of course the story
come on netflix, you guys even made a sequel for kissing booth and to all the boys
