The most important lesson from The Holy Bible that hardly anyone ever preaches, sadly, is about unforgiveness. You can do everything right yet hold unforgiveness towards someone and then you go to Hell in the end because of it. You cannot hold unforgiveness towards anyone, for any reason, no matter how justified you feel you are or how guilty the person is you are mad at. "You must forgive others in order to be forgiven by God." β Jesus himself says this, and many times, and almost all his other most famous quotes revolve around this fact and allude to this teaching. It's spiritual law because Jesus said it, it must be true lest he be a liar. "Vengeance is MINE." β Jesus at the end of the world. "Let He who has not sinned(Jesus referring to himself) cast the first stone" β Jesus about an adulterer. "Father please forgive us as we continue to forgive others" β Jesus in the Lord's prayer. Not believing in forgiveness is not believing in Jesus, nor in God's ability to judge adequately. Mark 11:25 "And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.β Luke 6:37 Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Matthew 5:23-24 So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, / leave your gift there before the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift. Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.
