We Muslims as the vicegerent of Almighty Allah are entrusted with the Truth, we also recognise our shortcomings, we are repentant, regretful and seeking the forgiveness of Almighty Allah. And I have come to confirm the truth of whatever there still remains of the Torah and to make lawful to you some of the things which had been forbidden to you. There is no god but Allah, and assuredly Allah is All-mighty, All- Wise. And if they turn their backs, truly Allah knows those who cause mischief.
Say: “People of the book! Come to a word common between us and you: that we shall serve none but Allah and shall associate none with Him in His Divinity and that some of us will not take others as lords other than Allah.” And if they turn away [from accepting this call], tell them: “Bear witness that we are the ones who have submitted ourselves exclusively to Allah.” [Al-Qur’an. 3: 58-64]
Islam is the final and the only valid religion until the end of the world. Al ‘Quran reveals: “[Today this mercy is for] those who follow the ummi Prophet, whom they find mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel that they have. He enjoins upon them what is good and forbids them what is evil. He makes the clean things lawful to them and forbids all corrupt things and removes from them their burdens and the shackles that were upon them. So those who believe in him and assist him and succor him and follow the light which has been sent down with him, it is they who shall prosper. [Say, O Muhammad]: “O people! I am Allah’s Messenger to you all- of Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. There is no god but He. He grants life and deals death. Have faith, then, in Allah and His Messenger the ummi Prophet who believes in Allah and His words; and follow him so that you may be guided right.”[ Al-Qur’an. 7: 157-158.]
