🔴TOPIC: THE COMPELLING POWER OF MIGHTY WORKS [RAISING WITNESSES WITH POWER]-1 COR 4:20, MARK 6:1,2, JOHN 14:8-11 (NIV), JOHN 4:48🔴
2 SIDES TO THE COMMUNICATION OF THE GOSPEL/MINISTRY OF THE WORD 1. The message of the communication of the Word. 2. The demonstration of the Gospel.
* There has been much work done with regards to the message of the Gospel being communicated within the Body of Christ today. Gradually, we are slipping away from ignoring the power component.
* The assignment of doctrine and the Word is to be able to demystify and know how authentic the source of a power dimension is from.
* For now, the power component we can say has been slowly extracted by Satan and has given to people without the Spirit of God the intellectual part of this communication of the Gospel.
* That is men driven by their desires will according to the scripture, 1 Tim. 4:1->[1. A departure from God's pattern and give heed to: a. Seduction (an inherent desire in men) | b. Doctrine of devils]
* Subconsciously this is creating the mindset for people to be used to a Gospel without evidence/ validity to it. This is in addition making men to return to their pseudo-traditional practices like idolatry.
* If you do not have a superior dimension of the Gospel, you will see a demonstration of the power of darkness that will shock you.
* Bearing witness to the Gospel was not supposed to end at the point of philosophies of human eloquence. There is therefore the need to bring a balance to the message and the power.
2. Genuine Power that transforms Nations is not a Gift. There is a Price.
* When demonstration is available, words do not have to be many.
GENUINE DISPLAY OF POWER WITH REFERENCE IN THE BIBLE: -> Matthew 8:14-15 -> Acts 20:9-10
THE KEYS/PRICE TO PAY FOR GENUINE POWER 1. The price of intimacy and consecration (Consecration has a foundation from abstinence from sin & flesh and devotion to God.)
* Consecration has a foundation of abstinence from sin and devotion to God. Consecration means set apart unto a mission.
* Devotion means dying to self and enthroning God in all affairs of your life and through your life to the nations.
* The highest motivation for every activity for the believer in Christ is the desire to see Jesus revealed in your life and through your life.
* Intimacy and consecration demands knowing how to engage intimately with the Holy Spirit. [Message to Listen: The Ministry of the Holy Spirit]
* There is a misconception that devoting to the Holy Spirit will automatically make Jesus jealous.The Holy Spirit’s primary purpose is to reveal Jesus through His speakings (Rom 1:4, Jh. 16:13, Act 1:8, 10:38)
* In knowing the Holy Spirit, we need to understand the value of the person, office and ministry of the Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 13:14)
* Living a consecrated life is by the agency of the Holy Spirit (Ezekiel 2:1-2, Micah 3:8, Isa. 61:1)
* God is a God of love but also a God of justice. Without pressing into depths of intimacy with the Holy Spirit, there are certain weights of God’s glory and presence that you will never carry.
THE KEYS/PRICE TO PAY FOR GENUINE POWER 2. The price to access/press for revelation knowledge. (2 Pet. 1:2, 2 Tim. 1:12, Jh 17:3, Prov. 9:10)
* You need to know the Revelation of God, Revelation of Jesus and the Revelation of His Ways (Eph. 1:17-21)
* The names of the Bible are also spiritual pathways that turn a believer to become like a certain kind of believer.
* Sometimes it is not only currencies you need to access revelation. There are times where spiritual hunger can cause you to press for more (Prov. 18:1, Eph. 1:18, 4:18, Col. 3:16, 2 Cor. 4:6)
* Learn to grow and don't learn to Preach
THE KEYS/PRICE TO PAY FOR GENUINE POWER 3. The price of violent Faith (Matt. 11:12) * Satan is a stubborn spirit and hence you will need to enforce the power of words through faith (Ps. 66:3, Heb. 11:1, 6)
* Faith is an expression of your confident resolution and an action of obedience that you believe in God's ability (Eph. 3:20) and His integrity (Num 23:19).
* There are times you will need to take an action of faith to walk on water believing in God’s integrity.
LEVELS OF FAITH 1. The word of faith | 2. The Gift of Faith | 3. The Spirit of Faith
* Doing business for God is faith dependent.
* Rejoicing in hope through faith even though you have not attained the reality of your expectations. Faith is not ashamed to declare although you do not have it yet (1 Peter 1:8, Numbers 23:19)
* Engage God’s word with courage, obedience and confidence.
THE KEYS/PRICE TO PAY FOR GENUINE POWER | 4. The price of humility (James 5:6). * Humility is perpetually acknowledging God as the basis of everything you have in your life.
* It takes vision to start a journey, it takes discipline to continue but it takes mercy to finish.
* Jesus was exalted because of having and walking in humility (Philippians 2:5).
* Pride kills, subtracts and divides everything good and amplifies everything evil.
* One way to continually walk in humility is to remember where God took you from and knowing that all men are indispensable.
* One contribution you can make for any man who is at the cutting edge of God’s program is to pray for him/her to continue to become humble.

* It is important to know that love is connected to power. You cannot find genuine love and not find power in it.
* Love is the ability to be touched by the infirmities of others. Love is similar to being compassionate.
WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF MANIFESTING MIGHTY WORKS? 1. It silences arguments and sarcasms (Acts 4:10-14) 2. It validates the Gospel and the messenger. 3. It compels the nations and the unbelieving world to be convicted and to come to Jesus and become obedient to the faith (Jh 4:48, 20:30-31)
Whenever i watch his sermon today, if feel too much comfort and self love no matter my situation. I used to think God has forsaken me and my family due to hardships we had but when I attended the teaching on the hidden secrets of God, wauu, I gained weight of hope in me .
Profound Message .. Jesus Revealed Jesus Glorified by the HolySpirit…He was declared to be the Son of God by the Spirit of Holiness Romans 1v4, Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth John 16v13, But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1v8, And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.Ezekiel 2v2, But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord, Micah 3v8… Isaiah 61v1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners….HolySpirit we need You… HolySpirit I need You
