  1. Had to do some annoying stuff to the footage of the movie to be able to upload the video. Hopefully doesn't detract from your overall enjoyment of it too much. Also I'd like to thank user @OwenOgletree for suggesting this movie!

  2. Japan has an extremely violent visual culture. It's also one of the safest countries in the world. That may have something to do with the fact that few Japanese people own guns, whereas in America just about any nutcase can walk into a store and buy a gun.

  3. 😅

thumbs down – do not recommend channel.

im two minutes in and every complaint is on par with “cinema sins” level of bitchiness

    nty

people like this are part of whats wrong with the world.

donald trump is raping girls on an island and people like this will complain “he never washed his hands between the rapes! eww”

  4. American, 1851, and disputes over slavery split every major Protestant denomination. In the North, they evolved with the culture. In the South, they devolved, becoming the pitiless Red Hat Evangelicals we know and fear today. Obviously, these were all-white churches. The Black churches in the US took entirely their own trajectory, but with similar conservative/progressive disputes over time.

  5. It is a horrible tragedy that should not have happened but to think it's wrong to include God is sad, God is the reason we can have justice hope and comfort during different times such as these. So To those who think it's an agenda forget that 1 she was a Christian that loved Jesus and people, she was even seeking to help those in her school through prayer, she even said in her own words " I am not going to apologize for speaking the name of Jesus… If I have to sacrifice everything… I will." (Written in her journal one year to the day before her death). Jesus loved and took care of her even in the end as she stayed faithful which is why she's in heaven now with the one her soul loved. 2 God is merciful but He's also a righteous judge that didn't let those guys off that did that horrible crime ( Psalms 5:4-6, Psalms 7:11-12). 3. it's not an agenda to include Jesus in this because if it wasn't for His love and mercy none of the others or us would be here, His life His death His sacrifice is why we all aren't perishing now ( John 1-21). 4 lastly Christianity is a relationship with Jesus Christ not an agenda ( John 15). I'll be praying for you all as I'm still praying for those families🙏🏽

  6. You must be too young to have actually live thru the Columbine tragedy. In the late 90s and early 2000s every single christian teenager and preteen was absolutely 100% ready to be martyrs for Jesus. We were ready to be asked if we believed in God and then be 🔫🔫 when we said yes. There's literal songs out there just pumping up teenage Christians to become martyrs.

  7. It's so disgusting for Christians to use her horrific death to push their agenda. It's kind of worse actually because these are the same people who will never vote or campaign for legislation that will prevent future school shootings.

  8. Rachel was literally killed because she was the first people that they came across (it was Richard Castaldo and Rachel Scott, Richard was paralyzed and Rachel was killed) even Rachel's own brother Craig has said she didn't know Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. They're also taking the story of a student in the library that might be false (from what I've read it was either Cassie Bernall or Valeen Schnurr, there's conflicting information)

  9. So. They have a kid with Down syndrome in the movie just to give their man character brownie points for having the bravery to talk publicly to a person with Down syndrome. But they don’t bother to let this kid do anything else in this movie? He clearly just exists so the movie makers can go ‘see? 😊 we’re so tolerant and accepting of others!’ Although I can say it isn’t accurate to real life that these types of people only see those with disabilities as a way to make themselves seem like better people.
Same with the homeless kid who had a drug addicted mom. Rather than thinking ‘hm… drug addiction is a huge problem so maybe we should reach out to help her’ they instead avoid the issue all together and just take her vulnerable and desperate son and convert him to Christianity. Through their kindness and understanding (at least through what I can gather in this video. Maybe they do help her but I’m sure as hell not going to watch this movie and find out. Not that it would feel any less shallow)

  10. She was still a child ….so they can't assume she would've been a Christian for life….she couldve been indoctrinated for all we know …. and her parents were out of order to take part in this Christian propagandist bs

  11. I can’t imagine how pissed I’d be if I died in a tragic shooting and someone took one aspect of my identity and made a whole movie about it

Like I’m sure she had so much more to her than “Christian” but they don’t seem to care about that, she must be Christian girl Mary sue

  12. The funny thing is if evolution WAS properly taught in schools there would be less room for ridiculous misinterpretations like the killers had. Many people have tried to use the idea of natural selection as a justification for terrible things, including Darwin himself! But evolution is just a natural process, it’s neither good nor evil. Now religion has also been used to justify terrible things and unlike evolution SOME things it teaches ARE evil.

  13. The fact she was asked if she believed in God didn’t happen to Rachel Scott, or Cassie Bernall who the story is most attributed to. It was asked to Valeen Schunurr, who when asked said yes, to which Dylan Klebold, one of the shooters, asked why Valeen responded “Because I believe and my parents brought me up that way”. Valeen Schunurr survived Columbine, and her story was attributed to Cassie who died without a word spoken to her, a victim of senseless violence by two people who wanted to feel important about themselves, Eric Harris was found to be the more radicalized of the two, and the police had ample evidence that he’d commit such violence but did nothing.

  14. What’s weird is I’ve worked on Pure Flix movies. My ex was the Production designer on gods not dead, case for Christ, gods not dead 2 etc etc. I’ve had friends who have worked like 35 of them. None of us are Christian or their version of it. But they pay a low rate and it’s experience. But watching them….*chefs kiss they are unintentional comedy gold

  15. Flyleaf made a song called "Cassie" and it's about this. They got the name wrong tho cuz Cassie's parents went on to tell people it was her that had interaction with one of the killers. It was actually Rachel, and I've since seen Flyleaf perform the song saying Rachel instead.

  16. It's also really gross at the end, like… she wasn't the only victim. Wouldn't it have be nice to at least put photos of the other kids who died in the credits too? Especially since Rachel wasn't even the one who they were like "do you believe in God" to anyway??

  17. Idk. I feel like the way she announced she was a Christian like that would have gotten her weird looks though. It's so unnecessary and odd. I'm a Christian and no one gives a f*ck, but I wouldn't have announced it to my whole class for no reason when I was that age. I talk about it when it's relevant or when someone asks. No one outside of the occasional edgy atheist cares lol (and "edgy atheist" is a distinct category from regular atheist; regular atheists don't care either as long as you're not a bigot)
