I ruined a relationship that shaped me by being a non believer of Christ and an all around not great man, the “loser” so to speak. The foundation of my relationship was built backwards as you said it and plagued with many issues unfortunately on both sides. Ultimately, it fell apart and by the time my eyes and heart opened up in a way to fix it, to become a man of God and a good partner worthy of a good partner, as much as I tried it was too late for that relationship. I decided that I would not make that same mistake twice, I’m in a new relationship now and doing it the right way, I plan to marry this woman and have been/will continue to be the kind of man I hope my daughters end up with when they are older. The grass really is greener where you water it and I’ve watched too many gardens die because of greed, lust, and thinking I was better than whatever was right in front of me… but not anymore.
If your woman is flirting with another man. That is her fault for allowing it. Id personally walk away and not look back if a girl played games like that. It is dumb to attack the man. Also, yeah she can be precious, but most women don’t love you because of how well you treat them in fact the Bible says women respect your husbands not love. And if you have no backbone you wont be respected by her or anyone. Women in my experience respect you more for who you are rather than how you treat them. The simp epidemic proves it. Men do all kinds of ridiculous things for women, buy all kinds of gifts and try and pay for her affection, but that’s not how women work in reality. Happy wife happy life was made by spineless simps not real men. You can pretend the world works like you say it does and learn the hard way or you can be a man and see reality. You need clear boundaries for anyone, including your girlfriend/wife. Flirting should not be tolerated
***REALITY CHECK!!! USA or the bible belt of USA is NOT CANADA and in CANADA males rarely if ever ask a lady out on a date up herefrom church!!! So, just asking a person who you are NOT necessarily attracted to for a cup of coffee (maybe with one other person if needed) is not a bad thing if people are scared of rejection and withdraw otherwise!! Learning about yourself and others to find what you like and dont like in other people is part of the learning curve in having relationships!!! Make it clear in communication that when you ask someone for coffee, that your intention is to build connections in the church to build community connections and this can still be a good motive to going out for at least a coffee date ****** @Lakepointe Church
I Always thought that song of songs was like symbolic on how God shows love to humanity like the way hosea(God) was told to marry gomer the unfaithful woman(humanity) …it's just a thought that I had
Meeting the Godly woman that has been prepared for me is what has woken me up big time… I was told by a friend in church to allow God to prepare me for His perfect choice for me… Meeting Madelein in church has been an absolute blessing in my life… She is my helper, my prayer partner & she has become my best friend, We are allowing God to prepare us for marriage… Thank you for this message Josh, praying blessings over you bud🙏🙏🙏🌈
As of this year I thought I found my god ordained husband and God broke up the relationship to save me from sin and agony you know and that's a blessing I have to see it like that I would like to focus on my career getting my money together and be responsible for myself because if marriage is for me God will prepare me you know for a godly marriage if God wants to bless me in that way
I don't want to date. I am content living by myself. I have freedom to do things I enjoy. To give to the ministry of my choice. I don't want a relationship now.
I would strongly encourage men to avoid marriage, at least with any legal contracts. It doesn't benefit you. You'll still face 50% chance of divorce, and women initiate it 70% of the time. As soon as the woman gains power, it gets worse: in divorces with college-educated women, its 90% initiated by the woman (vs. 10% of men). Christian men are generally faithful and take their duty before God seriously; by contrast, women generally stick around for what benefits them. It's a hard statistical truth that you're not allowed to publicize. Almost none of those 10% of men think their Christian wife will divorce them; its a shocker every time. You're not the exception.
I am single

The wife is either like a beautifully watered garden or a dry wasteland. Amen!
