  2. I gave this a like because,,, I like Debby Felix and greatly like John Ekanem and they acted well on this mysterious love story. The only thing that marred it was the evangelizing aspect. It's really galling that Africans, especially, and too many other people, actually believe that we didn't know and have great reverence for the Creator until some barbaric, lying, thieving, , raping, hateful Europeans came into our land and stuffed their Jesus deity, their Allah deity, their Jehovah deity, down our throats until we choked. Now, we so sadly neglect and forget our own indigenous spiritualities and myriad ways of loving and showing respect for the Creator as our honorable and very wise ancestors did. Truth be told, we gave honor and respect to the Creator before the Europeans even came into existence. So it's very hurtful to see and hear our own people disrespect our histories, traditions, and customs because they believe the white God is better, holier, truer, or purer. "Even if I am out in the pouring rain, I will not seek shelter in the missionaries house. He says he speaks "God"s words. He lies." From the Basuto people. Even we do not feel "properly" married until we wear, not our beautiful traditional wedding outfits and take part in our traditional marriage rites, bur wear something called a white wedding gown that came into play with one of the English queens and has now become a standard in the former colonies. What a pity.
Beautiful song I must say. And beautiful acting by the main characters and the supporting cast. What wasn't beautiful, but was historically correct, was the parents bartering their daughter for financial gain….

  3. Now I can say that accident happened for a reason, leading her to those who really knows and love God so they can teach her about God and that was what the parents couldn't do over the years. Indeed everything happens for a reason.
