I have read a lot of Frank Peretti novels and enjoyed them. I would highly recommend reading a book called "On the heels of the hunted' by H.P. Graham. It is based in Scotland and features real places. I highly recommend it!!!!

I tried to read This Present Darkness, and discovered I struggle with books with multiple characters that build into the story, and are heavily dialogued. I got about 40 pages in. I liked it, but it was going to take me a long time to read. So, I decided to do some more books with fewer characters and that are written in first-person before I advance. I’m sure my comprehension skills and attention span will improve with time.
Indeed, Christianity is a fiction too😂

I hated The Oath. Too predictable. But Peretti's other stuff is fun to read.
Frank Peretti is an excellent author.

Have you read a murder mystery series, I can't remember the name, but each book is named after a chess piece. It's so good. You might like it
