One night with the king, yessss….. i did love the expansion of Hantack and the lead Eunuch. And yes i agree on Haman being sketchy , if they got the guy from the first queen esther movie, itd be perfect 😂, when you said best movie, i knew itd be prince of Egypt. It tops every list out of there and a bold decision for dreamworks at the time. I could watch it all day.
Passion of Christ is actually awesome because i think we used to underestimate just how horrific the crucifixion is. Brings out the real tears we didnt have in the Jesus movie.
The Passion of the Christ was made with the Catholic "Stations of the Cross" as its primary framework.
Also, the film perfectly presents Satan desperate to tempt Jesus away from completing his mission, which just added an incredible amount of emotion into Christ's sacrifice. A lot of people became Christian becausecof the film, and to this day, if anyone ever asked which biblical film to watch, I always recommend this one.
My favorite 3 are The Ten Commandments, The Prince of Egypt, and The Passion of the Christ.
Barabas….Francis of Assisi with Doleres Hart as "Mothwr Clare! Rosellini Version…. Also Gospel of St. Matthew by him = both these 2 are better than St. Mep Gibson:d Passion of Christ…
I would love to see a adaptation of the books of 1st and 2nd Kings. They have all the elements to be an awesome epic. Though it will be difficult, with the right people, I think they can pull it off.
Its clear to see that the movie industry doesnt really want the word of God out because of the lack of good movies based on the bible and the bible has all of life’s best stories
EXODUS WAS REALLY REALLY HORRIBLE … Gosh i hate it!!!!! Noah: 🤢 You said it!!! YEAH THE PRINCE of EGYPT IS REALLY GOOD!!!❤❤❤ THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE …. seen a dozen Times!!!❤ David and Goliath … good i didn´t see 🤮 OMG
The Robe is a really good movie, think from the late fifties. Risen is a good modern B movie in the same vain. Kingdom of Heaven sucks ass, its upside down compared to real history…
Bible movies has been, as you said, made since 1903. Yet you picked all your best from modern times. Yes I would have picked Ten Commandments. Why not?
I love The Prince of Egypt! ❤ I agree with everything you say; it’s a masterpiece. One of my favourite bits is the parting of the sea…and you can see the great fish behind water. Wonderful.
Dood your out of your mind.what about Jesus of Nazareth, king of kings, the ten commandments, the story of ruth, the greatest story ever told .have you not heard of these precious jems
Noah made me EXTRA LIVID bc i went to a youth conference in NYC where Darron Aronofsky literally took the stage to promote his movie, saying how the story of Noah was personal to him and was so impactful in his life, literally everyone cheering and excited for this film, he bait and switched all of us. i will hate both that director and that movie forever
4:07 to be honest I think Kingdom of Heaven is overrated. It's all one-dimensional, where Saladin appears to be like some sort of Mother Teresa while in real life he enslaved so many people that the price for slaves significantly dropped. And after he took Jerusalem everyone who couldn't pay ransom was enslaved. The bulk of the crusaders in the movie are cartoony bloodthirsty villains. The two main villains are of course both Knights Templar, whilst in real life neither of the historical figures was. If you don't care about historical accuracy anyway I would pick Gladiator over KoH every single time. I think it's much more enjoyable.
I almost acted in Exodus Gods and Kings… as the “British Caillou” as you put it.
2:06 😂 Jonah is my daughters favorite movie
With respect, the top 3 here is terrible. The fact that two of three are cartoons — very good cartoons, but cartoons — says it all.
pssssst. Jesus Christ Superstar is peak Christian Media
Jesus Of Nazareth, Gospel Of John, and Jesus Film.. and, thats it!
10 Commandments with Ben Mosely..
Where would you put The Greatest Story Ever Told?
2:16 was the giant pickle supposed to be Goliath?
Wasn't there a paul movie? Speaking of which, are there any movies based on acts or post-cruxifiction christianity?
Noah was horrid
I thought Sodom and Gomorrah with Stuart Granger was awesome
You just gained a new follower this was hilarious 😂
You will enjoy the mockumentury "And G-d Spoke". Two schlock directors doing the Bible…

Just watch Joshua and the promised land trust me it’s absolute gold 😂😂😂
Jesus of Nazareth was my favorite. I'm surprised there was no mention of The Last Temptation of Christ as a horrible film.
My favorite ever is The Book of Daniel. We'll done, and very accurate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPg-WAZFjcc

Very Hollywood, but… I like the 1955, Ten Commandments. I also like Jesus Christ Superstar.

17:08 I lost it here.
So you’re not gonna point out how whitewashed the Exodus movie was huh…..
Did you watch Jeremiah with Patrick Dempsy?
EXODUS WAS REALLY REALLY HORRIBLE … Gosh i hate it!!!!! Noah: 🤢 You said it!!! YEAH THE PRINCE of EGYPT IS REALLY GOOD!!!❤❤❤
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE …. seen a dozen Times!!!❤
David and Goliath … good i didn´t see 🤮 OMG
Greatest Bible movie? THE LIFE OF BRIAN. HISTORY OF THE WORLD PART 1. YEAR ONE.
i agree, Prince of Egypt is one of the best! why wont they make this anymore?
Kingdom of Heaven is not a good film.
Not a bad view
I bought a copy of "Noah " at a Walmart bargain basket for 5 bucks. Total crap.
Brw, Rameses was not the Pharaoh of the Exodus. He lived around 1200 BC. The Exodus occured around 1500 BC, and the Pharaoh was Amenhotep II.
An underrated film is Paul, an Apostle of Christ. Its really good and moving.
Life of Brian was class
My favourite Christian films:
1. The Passion of the Christ
2. Hacksaw Ridge
3. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Eh, it's kind of a Christian film)
4. The Ten Commandments
I cant believe they got Goliath to play Alex Jones in David And Goliath
The Ten Commandments is the best.
I'm a 2000s kid and was raised on veggie tales.
Noah is a mockery of Christianity.
The Robe is a really good movie, think from the late fifties. Risen is a good modern B movie in the same vain. Kingdom of Heaven sucks ass, its upside down compared to real history…
My favorite Bible movie is The Nativity Story.
I’m not religious. But the Exodus story is literature, and The Prince of Egypt was brilliant .
Bible movies has been, as you said, made since 1903. Yet you picked all your best from modern times. Yes I would have picked Ten Commandments. Why not?
I disagree with you about The Room. There is a theory that The Room was purposely made to be awful. I happen to agree with that theory.
I love The Prince of Egypt! ❤ I agree with everything you say; it’s a masterpiece. One of my favourite bits is the parting of the sea…and you can see the great fish behind water. Wonderful.
Noah is up there for me. Feels like you either didn't fully understand it or are intentionally misrepresenting it.

King of Kings is really good
