  1. as a parent you always want to do the best by your children. So how can parents have got it so wrong ….. and society doesn't help. Love the teenagers, love the young people around you. Help them on their way through life. They might not always want your advice. At least listen to them …….. and take this man's advice about mobile phones please

  2. this video made me sad because I'm a 47 year old woman and I have a 16 son and I see how him and his friends never get together and its always about cell phones, all electronic devices, technology has ruined our children. I'm grateful for growing up in the 70-80's. I had a real childhood outside riding our bikes, playing with friends. We knew how to form relationships, talk to people, had social relationships. we had no electronic devices except maybe an Atari.
This video is all so true of how life is now. I really wish it was like the old days. It was way better.

  3. Why can't teens be more like collage students. Not being in everybody's business. Even if you tell them what chould happen they act like f**king idotic psychopathic freaks as well as being Naive. I truned 18 at the beginning of the year. And before that I always had that question. I hated teens when I was still a teen. Its ether that there parents are insufferable revolting pathetic psych oath slobs or that the child is just mentally deranged and the parents arnt doing anything about it.

  4. Good messages but I've disliked because applying all this to millennials is bs. Everyone struggles with these issues in the modern day. I know people in their 50s and 60s who are addicted to social media. It's as though everyone above a certain age is not struggling with all these issues and only millennials struggle with these issues. ( Not a milenial btw)

  5. You do not know my name I am under a pseudonym you do not know my age which is between 13 and 16 my story however is true I have struggled with depression I have attempted to kill myself twice by trying to OD on melatonin I am a self harmer with multiple scars I am suicidal I think about slitting my wrists every day I hate my life I have panic attacks that leave me shaking from exhaustion that last up to 2 hours if I could just end it all I would the only thing that keeps me going is my friends and boyfriend who is also suicidal I love him to bits but I also know the pain and numbness will go away if I go

  6. Thank you very much, it help really realize something, because currently I'm being addicted in a MOBA game and i kinda lose interest in my studies, but this really helps me go back to reality ❤️.

  7. Thankyou
    Very Poignant.
Feeling ironic… Cause I viewed it on a device. But yes… I honestly was losing some social skills because I was staying home and not going out to the world.

  8. Acts 2:38
    King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

  9. This was incredible. It made sense of all the observations and reflections I've had over the years particularly about the impact of technology/social media on relationships, our sense of self and how we measure happiness, achievement and fulfillment & I'm not a millennial….but I do work with them! Thank you for uploading this gem! 👍🏽🙏👏🏽

  10. He has forgotten something really important. People talk online so now they miss the opportunity to have deep conversations about what they have been doing. This is how we used to build relationships. He does almost touch on it.

  11. No, Sinek is all wrong! The environment over the last 15 years has changed dramatically and the younger generations are dealing with it the best they can. Sinek describes it from his generational perspective. I've been teaching Millennials and GenZ for many years and they are no different to any other generation. They just deal with a complex environment which their parents are also trying to deal with applying learned patterns. The reality is that humans adapt. The proof will be in the next 20 years when Millennials and GenZ rule the world. It will be a better place. It has to be.
