Allen's ministry was located in Miracle Valley, Arizona, and he was one of the first to develop a national television ministry. He also was a Drunk Pill-Popping Fake who's supposed Miracle Working Faith Healing was questioned by many who had a hard time proving him a fake, because he hired 'goon squads' to punch out anyone who showed up for Allen's Tent Revivals with a notepad or camera. He did us all a favor by dying from liver failure brought on by acute alcoholism a heavy drinking binge in a San Francisco hotel where his body was found in a room strewn with pills and empty liquor bottles. Don't trust these sorts of people!
