Yes. We must be willing and ready to suffer some things if we decide to work for or to follow Christ. Believe me, I know, it is not going to be like a walk in the park or lying in a bed of roses. I can definitely tell you that right now. The minute you decide to and people know and see it, they will start treating you differently. Your spiritual eyes will begin to open up and you will begin to see some people as ravening wolves all around you ready to destroy you and to tare you apart. So, do not think that it will be something strange that is only happening to you. THIS IS HAPPENING TO EVERYBODY IN CHRIST. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO SUFFER LONELINESS, ISOLATION, ABANDONMENT BY FAMILY MEMBERS, RIDICULE, MOCKERY, AND FOR SOME OF US EVEN IMPRISONMENT OR EVEN MARTYRDOM. We are hardly going through nothing compared to what Jesus and the twelve disciples went through. They did the hardest work and paved the way for us, and we are now walking in it. But Jesus says of us to be of good cheer, because the suffering that we are going through now will be nothing compared to the joy that we will have later. Where there is no cross, there will be no crown. Amen.

ive been battling the spirit of victimhood. I don't want that narrative on my life. I'm more than a conqueror and God did not give His child a spirit of fear. I know these things deep in my heart space, but that doesn't stop the weapons from forming. It's been a struggle to endure because I know i dont "deserve" it – but God sent Bishop T D Jakes to instruct his child. It's not about what we "deserve." It's about fulfilling His purpose.
