  1. STED•FAST•NESS: “firmness": "The steadfastness of your FAITH in Christ" (Colossians 2:5).

Both Jesus and the Apostle Paul had encouraged their followers to REMAIN faithful to God in the midst of all their difficult trials because they both had an undying LOVE for the longevity of the church (Romans 1). Even though Paul's Christian journey with the Lord was often overwhelming in terms of hardships and trials, he remained committed to devoting his ENTIRE life to serving Him. Paul had once said, "For me to live is Christ" which would imply that his entire life as a Christian would be centered around LIVING for Christ and not this fallen world (1John 2:15). Paul was fully aware that Christians were offered the glorious opportunity to live for Christ and NOT for themselves (Romans 8:29)(Colossians 1:18). He knew that one day EVERY human being will enter into a timeless existence called eternity. In His sovereignty, God had chosen for us to live a life of FAITH and NOT a life of walking by sight, which means that we are required to continually trust in Him for the entire duration of our earthly existence. Christ will occasionally create incidents or scenarios in our lives that will cause us to have to place our confidence and trust in Him. These random episodes of Christian testings that are ordained by God, are called Godly TEST or TRIALS (Matthew 4:1).

    6) In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by VARIOUS TRIALS, 7) so that the TESTED genuineness of your FAITH more precious than GOLD that perishes though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in PRAISE and GLORY and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

It is our Godly STEADFASTNESS through our DISTRESSFUL trials that brings true glory to His name….and not ours! ❤️🙏🏾🕊❤️🕊🙏🏾🕊❤️
