  1. How powerful “I focused on the voice of my father” sounds like “my sheep know my voice” and that is exactly what we need to do with God when we don’t understand what is going on. Trust him.

  2. Our family was on the opposite side of the world, Kenya on a beach in Mombasa. We had traveled from Uganda to Kenya in my uncle's minivan and were staying at Mombasa Beach Hotel. I was only 11 years old and we were swimming in the Indian ocean, non of us knew how to swim, we were merely playing by the shores and keeping close to the shallows. I remember the tides going really high that evening and we were advised to move to the hotel pool. My entire family was in the ocean swimming that evening, it was Christmas season and we had no idea what was about to happen on the opposite side of the world. The next day, we woke up to a vast empty beach, the water had moved so far up that we could see 4km into the ocean, just rocks and sand. Now that I'm 31 years old and i know where that water went, breaks my heart to think of the families on the opposite end of the world. It took me several years to register what had happened and I'm glad God chose to spare us that holiday.

  3. SO THE PART WHERE SHE SAYS THAT AFTER THE TSUNAMI HER PARENTS STAYED TO HELP THE PEOPLE CLEAN UP AND FIX EVERYTHING BACK UP AND SHE SAID MY FAMILY MY PARENTS WANTED to help clean what did she say they're not even our people but we still stayed

  4. My cousin was there that day out at sea on a big wooden boat.
She found salvation in Jesus Christ as she cried out to Him for the first time in her life. .. She's now a gloriously Godly woman and is married with 2 children.

  5. Wow !!! I have the movie DVD of the one family of four (from somewhere like Sweden or Norway) that survived but were split up and reunited in a makeshift hospital, but 18 family members all surviving is an incredible miracle. I'm so thankful the Lord showed them the path up the cliff the day before. The Boxing Day tsunami and how it hit the top of that Indonesian island, I think Banda Aceh, and killed so many people.

  6. My mother's family side were saved so many times by God, & back in the day mum saved me & my Grandmother from drowning,we were being swept away she couldn't swim but jumped in & pulled us to safety. Meanwhile Dad was fast asleep on the hill ,she went mad at him. 😊
