I won’t lie this movie got me so emotional 🥺. Was poor Obinna really to be blamed for something he didn’t even do?! People actually go through this in real life, and it’s heartbreaking. The child didn’t ask to be born na ah ah. Despite having it all, Obinna felt so vulnerable and so alone 😮💨😭.
As for Tukonbo… my guy, you were bitter. I get it, you were hurt but shifting blame to your brother who didn’t even know his father for years and literally didn’t even know if the man was married? Was Obinna really at fault? 😭 Omo, I felt for him sha 💔 I mean you didn’t stop there, you went ahead to use his best friend, knowing full well both of them would end up broken? Chai Tukonbo, you too do 😮💨.
Then Diane… all along you knew you secretly loved the same guy your best friend loved. You even talked her out of it at her best advantage whilst her seeing someone else 😮💨. That’s betrayal abeg, you too fall hand💔
All in all, this was a powerful movie. Every actor and actress delivered their role with depth and emotion. I felt every scene.👏🎬
Obinna is arrogant towards his mother. He had no right to question his mother about how he was born when the full facts are made known to him….anyone having any contrary views? Having now watched the movie to the full, I found myself, a middle-aged educated man, staring intently onto the screen. Every picture, every dialogue, every scene depicts life as it unfolds. And I am wondering, does Nollywood give awards to producers? If So, Uchenna Mbunabo Tv ought to win multiple ones…. for their depiction of real-life situations in their productions. There's nothing about this movie that couldn't have happened in this life. But here is the one question I want to ask; why is Clinton's character apologising for taking Zik, when he had absolutely no idea that she was a friend of Obinna? Anyway, I know it's a story in the ether; a metaphysical projection of possibilities….many thanks for enriching our lives, Uchenna Mbunabo.
I don't think chinnenyes character should have been in this story. It should have been about the brothers relationship and the company no Romantic talks.
