One thing The Holy Spirit has helped realize is that as we draw closer to The Lord, His mission is to make us look more like Him. With everything Jesus instructs me to do or convicts me of (I.e. the way I dress, talk, act), Iβve become be more inclined to obey, because of my love for Him that grew overtime & the moments I spent with Himβ€ youβre doing so great!
I am the exact same. But what i do is I just use the immodest clothes as outwe wear over my tank tops or t shirts. As well as wearing patterned tights and leggs beneath the shorts and skirts. Because i do NOT have the money to do an entire closet rehaul π
I hope you're donating your old clothes second hand and not the garbage bin. Someone would really love your old clothes, don't let those beautiful clothes end up in a landfill or worse a sea turtle gets poisoned.
I'm not religious but I love dressing Modest. But sadly, I've noticed MEN sexualising long skirts and Modest clothing and people act like they are botheted by me being covered
The mini skirts you could of worn still just wear thick like winter tights under them or jeans and skirts together or leggings / flare leggings then wear a croptop but just add matching / black long sleeve under it. Boom you can wear them but remain covered still.
This is really making me feel like I'm not alone π God ordained message. I want to say I'm really trying, but am I? I feel like we can always do better as flesh, but our souls always come with the quick convictions, like a spirit guide from the inside. I'm going to do my best to start my modesty journey now. Its on my vision board and has been since the begining of the year, but backsliding made me forget my higher purpose and that choices do matter to keep frequencies high. I'm going to do my best and allow God to hold my hand.
I feel like the problem with revealing clothes is that women's body is sexualized. Men's body isn't sexualized, so when you see a guy running outside completely shirtless it eill never be as problematic as a girl wearing leggings. And that happens just cause women's body is sexualized.

I've been on my modesty and femininity journey for a while and I thank God for it. I've learnt so much and there's so much beauty in covering up and not letting people outside of your husband see certain areas of skin and certain curves. The world will try to tell you it's oppressive, but at the same time will push and encourage women and men too into destructive sexual habits and behaviours. Jesus Christ is forever and will always be the ONLY way, the ONLY truth and the ONLY life. God bless you and this is amazing!
