The first American missionaries to arrive in Eastern India were Adoniram and Ann Hasseltine Judson. As part of the first group of overseas missionaries sent by the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions, they arrived in Calcutta on June 17, 1812. I am a third generation church going christian. We have a good christian population in the eastern tribal state of Jharkhand(india) despite persecution the membership is skyrocketing. End times prophecy bring fulfilled. Isaiah 9:2: This prophetic verse states, "The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned." This is viewed in Christian theology as a prophecy of the coming of the Messiah. [1]
What a blessing to see Rev. Stanley sitting in the audience too. Praise the Lord for a Godly man who always delivered the gospel until the day he died.🙏🏽🙌🏽🎚️
