  1. the gift of tongues was so that the disciples of Jesus, could go to a foreign land, and share the message to foreigners in their native tongue. (ie: a language you have never studied before) it has to be a language that the recipient can understand..
to utter sounds in a rhythmic babble is not tongues. that is a performance.. tongues are to used to share the gospel to others who don't understand English (ie if your native language is English). otherwise, just share the gospel in English if you both speak English.. and if there are multiple languages in the room, an interpreter needs to be present to interpret the foreign language.. otherwise it is just noise.

  2. I don't know who this preacher guy is but he is no preacher. You do not call out someone's behavior in front of other people.

And Phil is a snitch, he should have left Jake alone, stop confronting him

Jake should have not gone cold turkey off his medicine, Zoloft has to be weaned off.

Putting someone down, nor kidding about it is not being a Christian.

  3. Im confused by this movie. I have the gift of tonques and sometimes i find myself praying in tonqes which is the Holy Spirit praying to the Father on my behalf for Christ knows .y needs better than i do. I pray to the Holy Spirit to lead guide and direct my steps. Church hurt is a real thing. And noone should feel ashamed for haveing to take a med that helps them to focus.

  4. Interesting! Full disclosure, this ministry needs to know everything about their students. This medication is nothing to shake a stick at. Jake went cold turkey. WOW nobody can handle that one. I'm surprised he didn't have a meltdown on a more significant level.
A person who accepted Jesus only 2 weeks prior, is not a candidate for leadership. I would be in a state of shock. Conversion by immersion is not my idea of learning and growing to become more like Jesus. I don't think this is a very good portrayal of church planting. ๐Ÿ‘‘

  5. One plants, pne waters,God gives the increase..this mivie was awesome bcuz it tells the absolute truth..God bless you always!! PRAISE THE LORD!

  6. He was not baptized in Jesus name, tittles were just pronounce over himโ€ฆ
Nowhere in the Bible the deciples baptized like that, they always said i baptize you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ..
Yes they obey the command given them in Mathew 28 v 19..
    Search the scriptures for yourselvesโ€ฆ

  7. If you are looking for a movie with a plot, that is not what this is, nor what it is intended to be. This movie simply displays various facets of the Christian journey. It shows the hills and valleys of life, in general, and various challenges to our spiritual growth. It exhibits how our different personalities express and process our faith (or lack of faith) and how we react and/or respond to life's challenges. Neither the established church nor the people in it are infallible. There are misinterpretations of Scripture, lots of errors along the journey. The movie is simply one person's Christian journey to which others of us may or may not relate.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

  8. I am wondering who made this movie and what type of denomination they are. The way they pray is very strange. I've been a born again Christian for years and can't relate to a lot of it. Yes, I pray in tongues so that is not the issue. I'm wondering if they are Catholic or what?
