Some of you may not fully understand how much it costs to create, maintain, and run an app. Building and sustaining technology requires serious investment, expertise, and continuous expenses. If people can afford a product or service and see value in it, there is nothing wrong with that.
Yes, he is a pastor, but he is also a businessman and has a responsibility to provide for his family through legitimate means. Being a pastor does not mean someone cannot have businesses, create value, or earn income outside the church. He is not stealing money from the church or exploiting people. He earns from legitimate ventures such as books he has authored, relationship coaching, consulting, and other businesses he has built.
I honestly do not understand why some people have an issue with a pastor engaging in legitimate business. Should someone be expected to suffer financially simply because they are a pastor? That mindset needs to be challenged. The real question should not be whether a pastor has money or owns a business; the question should be the source of the income, the integrity behind it, and whether people are being treated fairly.
The Bible itself shows that serving God and engaging in honest work can exist together. The Apostle Paul was a servant of God, yet he also worked as a tentmaker to support himself (Acts 18:3). Scripture encourages people to work diligently and provide for their families (1 Thessalonians 4:11-12, 1 Timothy 5:8).
So, instead of criticizing every successful pastor, we should be wise enough to distinguish between genuine financial misconduct and someone who is simply using their gifts, knowledge, and skills to build legitimate businesses.
Even Jesus highlighted the importance of wisdom and strategic thinking when He said in Luke 16:8 that āthe children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.ā There is nothing wrong with being productive, innovative, and financially responsible while still serving God.
Your argument is unfair. Every Christian is representing Christ in the marketplace. So the person in fashion, catering, makeup, entertainment, oil and gas whatever the industry does that mean they shouldnāt charge for their services just because they are representing Christ? Someone like Tonye Cole should not charge for his oil and gas products and services.
Salvation is free. Healing is free. The anointing is free. No one should charge for those. If anyone attempts it run away from them. Thatās not Christ.
That said, Pastor Kingsley went to school to study to become a counselor. He spent years honing his craft. So because his primary target audience are Christians so he shouldnāt charge? Christians need to stop being cheap and pay for quality services. People of the world would pay him 5x that to learn from him.
And itās a lesson to other Christians. Build your craft, get so good that you can charge good money for your skill set and stop being petty about what others are charging. You can never become what you despiseā¦selah
For those critising, there is a difference between a ministry and a job. He is a trained counsellor, which means he has a profession. It is like telling a Christian who has a business not to charge their clients just because they serve in the church. Here in the West, we have Christian Counsellors, Therapists, etc. Are you saying they shouldn't charge just because they have a role in the church? What Kingsley is doing is offering his services, people have a choice to engage or not to engage. He's offering packages just like all professionals who offer one to one services, ie; options, in other words, what people feel they need.
End time fake pastors and prophets manifesting their manipulation. God is exposing them one after another. They have brought the world into the church. Shalom.
He's not wrong for charging. The money is just too much. It's just too much .

Solomon Buchi should be bold to direct his grievance to Pastor Okonkwo. He should call him out like he does for others š
Pastor Okonkwo is an author right?
He sells his book to believers and non believers. The book maybe expensive and affordable to others right?
So, if you can afford what they are doing , good for you. If you can't, please leave the site alone.

His God is very expensive.
Thank God salvation is free. Man would have made it completely inaccessible.
