I think when Lot offered his daughters he was actually offering something he knew they would not want. These men were homosexuals as is obvious by the account in Genesis. In saying what he did concerning his daughters, he was likely highlighting the degree of their perversion.
We were studying this in growth group The Book of Abraham. Every time we go into detail about everything in the Bible the characters it feels like we're living it in today's world and we are let's give to the rich and condemn the poor.. this isn't what God had in mind to people that God is who you should be bowing down not anyone trying to be God really anybody portraying to be God right now should be in a mental health therapy.. welcome to today's world.. you notice politicians preach about the Bible but how come they don't talk about the real Bible
This story reminds me of who we are as believers. We are the light of the world, but that is not a free ticket to go to clubs or brothels under the excuse of shining our light. 💡
Yes, we are the salt of the earth, but salt is not supposed to taste like the world. The world should taste the salt in us, not the other way around. 🧂

Great depiction even though there was no mention of Hagar, who bore Abram's first child, Ishmael. Also, the angles of the Lord informed Lot & his family not to turn around or they will become a pillar of salt. This story begins in Genesis 10. I will keep watching your videos because they bring the Bible to life. Amen
