Sinners like each of us are born into the perils of sinners of our forefathers. When I awakened to the mercy and grace of God I repented of my many transgressions He redeemed not because I was good but that faith opened my heart and saved my soul through faith. You can do the same.
Where are preaching like this today. Sin abounds and none is preventing about hell. Which is certain if man does not repent. .If Jonathan Edwards was alive he would be preaching sermons like these., many would be saved from Gods wrath. There are billions of unsaved people on planet earth., and JESUs is coming soon. Prosperity gospel reigns. God help us.
This is not the True God ; John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know the thee the only TRUE God , and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent. So the god that this men is talking about is a false god. For the ages is SIN is DEATH ; but the gift of God is ETENAL LIFE through Jesus Christ . Rom 6:23 ,. Destroy him who holds the power of DEATH – that’s the DEVIL. Heb 2:14 The last enemy to be destroy is DEATH. 1Cor 15:25-27 . For sure this God is not my God . That so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,that whosoever believed in him should not perish, but have everlasting life . John 3:16. Please e people listen to the book STEPS TO CHRIST “ of EGW , then you will know a little bit of the Almighty God!
Don't mean to be cynical but this seems to be a pretty sharp contrast to the idea that God is like a good father. Sounds more like a raging maniac. Im not interested.
On top of Jonathon Edward's God sounding like a raging maniac you have to remember that he was a calvinist and the sinners he was referring to were predestined to be dawned so he could run them down with impunity.
We need to have a love of truth, which requires intellectual courage above all else. So here are my questions: Does the God revealed in the New Testament resemble what Jonathan Edwards described in his sermon “Sinners in the hands of an angry God”? Or does he sound like the God George MacDonald describes in his sermon “Justice”?
This sinner would much rather be found in the hands of a loving Father God, a forgiving Savior Jesus, and the comforting Holy Spirit. Please keep your Angry God to yourself. ☦️

One of the most horrific sermons I've ever heard!
Is this the Christian God?
Is this the God who looked out over his creation and saw that it was very good? Gen 1:31.
Is this the God who so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son to die for it? Jn 3:16.
Is this the God who is the savior of all people? 1 Tim 4:10.
This sermon is exactly why I'm not a Calvinist.
What a horrible, despicable God this is! Who would ever want to live in eternity with such a Being?
I'm so grateful that the God of the Bible is not like Edward's god!

Doesn't make sense if God predestined you to be damned.
