  1. 🔥 Falling or Resting in the Spirit 🔥
    Scripture clearly teaches:
It is true that in the Bible we find instances where people, when Jesus was delivering them from evil spirits, fell or trembled. But the difference is enormous: they were immediately set free, restored, and in their right mind — whereas what is seen today in Pentecostal and Roman Catholic churches, that is, in charismatic movements, has nothing to do with this. It is an imitation and a disgrace to Christ.
When Jesus cast out demons, people would tremble and fall, but they were immediately delivered and healed (Mark 9:26–27). This was Christ’s power at work.
In today’s charismatic movements, people lie on the floor for hours, roll around, and behave as though they are out of their minds — this is not deliverance, but deception that dishonors Christ.
Christ raises a person up and restores soundness of mind; false spirits knock a person down and leave them in confusion.
The Holy Spirit of God never leads into chaos and spectacle, but into order, truth, and obedience to God (1 Corinthians 14:33, 40).
The biblical gift of tongues was clear speech in real languages so that people could hear the Gospel (Acts 2:6–8), not unintelligible murmuring that brings nothing but confusion.
“By their fruits you will know them” (Matthew 7:20) — the one who is filled with the Holy Spirit walks in holiness and victory over sin, not in fleshly ecstasies.
