A very cute movie, Sarah L. was just great in this movie. The kids were so cute and so were her friends. Loved the story line, the writers did an awesome job. Loved the bloopers. God does work in mysterious ways.
I loved the seven year old character. But unfortunately this is a very unrealistic movie. For instance: There's no way that a man like this would fall for such an extremely overweight woman (and not only because usually she would become worse while getting older and gravity happens even more).
This movie was a waste of time to watch. That grandmother needed to learn a lesson and apologise to her daughter, which never happened. Lucy wasn't selfish for leaving, she just rescued herself from a toxic environment! I'm all for forgiving, but that doesn't mean you have to let people cross your boundaries and put up with their horrible behaviour.
When we encourage foreplay (the kiss in the library) as normal between unwed adults, we are flirting with sin, when we are clearly instructed in the Bible to "..flee youthful lust." Let's be careful what we endorse/support.
Lucy did a good job of making me dislike her for being a slob. Her Mom showed that โgiving in to the Lordโs willโ without going through a time of grieving properly with her children turned her into a hard woman and judgmental mother, who saw it as her right to grieve in private. Reconciliation began when Lucy read a letter from her demised sister. As Lucy has her grieving heart acknowledged, she opened her heart to love, and then to forgiveness. All these took place in less than 2 years since her fatherโs death. And Iโm still grieving over my MILโs death last June.
Take time to grieve properly, so that healing can come, that you may be open to receive love.
To not grieve when needed, means to shut out all other emotions that help us thrive in life.
Loved this movie loved everything like how they normalized Lucyโs character her weight, the falling in love. This was a beautiful movie coz it had God at the center of it all
