There is nothing good about staying in an abusive relationship including marriage. You will loose your life if you don't quit. And there is no shame in be a single parent or single person.
Lessons learned, growth attained, and a wonderful character development. It would be good to have a sequel (or universe spinoff) that takes us on a journey of her friend seeing the light and embarking on unlearning the lies she has come to believe. She is also a victim of society and deserves her own coming-into.

The fucked up mentality that "all men cheat" is the reason why some men are not accountable, remorseful and think they are doing the right thing cheating and do it again. Sad. Like they also say "its in their blood," "men are polygamous in nature," and why they won't change. African parents always conclude that everything is spiritual, but they arethe cause of thr truma.
