Reinhard Bonnke // Fire of the Holy Spirit (Baptism of Holy Spirit with Speaking in Other Tongues!)

This is a video with Evangelist Reinhard Bonke that demonstrates the results of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues- SOULS FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Jesus boldly declared in Acts 1:8, "you shall receive power to be my witnesses!"

I like to call this manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit in Nigeria, "Gettin' Bonki-fied!"

  1. Wow, I speak in tongues a lot too! I thank God that he made me really sensitive to his presence! I speak the real angelic tongues and burst into tears when he touches me! 🙂 It makes me whole! I am praying for a very humble heart though. I really want to be really humble. Oh and for the tongues part, the glory belongs to Jesus! Nothing is done without him!

  4. All in the upper room- so all Christians should today. I am not sure for the count in the meeting, atleast 100’s of thousands… and over 500 million world wide. With the fast growing nations being India, China, Brazil, and Nigeria!

  5. I would love that all famous preachers, all preachers which claim themselves as sons of God, preachers of gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, speak exactly word of God of Paul in 1 Corinthians 14 and show themselves as examples literally following what commandments of God written there. So, will you do that? Personally I memorized Jesus Christ mountain speech from St. Matthew in Ukrainian, English, Russian, Polish, and Belarusian languages, great part in Hebrew and partially in other languages, that speech. I love exactness. So, if any preacher literally will say 1 Corinthians 14 every point what Paul wrote, I would love that so much. Literally I memorized Revelation many chapters in Ukrainian, English, Russian, and great start in Polish, so I feel love to Word of God, and would love to see word of God which came from God in 1 Corinthians 14 in literally action. So, will you do that preachers of gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ?

11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

    Prophecy and Tongues
1Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. 2For he that speaketh in an unknowntongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.3But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 4He that speaketh in anunknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. 5I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
6Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine? 7And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped? 8For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle? 9So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air. 10There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification. 11Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me. 12Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
13Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret. 14For if I pray in an unknowntongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. 16Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest? 17For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified. 18I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all: 19Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.
20Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men. 21In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord. 22Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. 23If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad? 24But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: 25And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on hisface he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.
    Orderly Worship
26How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. 27If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 28But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. 29Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. 30If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. 31For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. 32And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
34Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 36What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?
37If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. 38But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.
39Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. 40Let all things be done decently and in order.

  6. Matthew 18:19?Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.? Father of heaven and earth I come into agreement with this prayer for Zakiya Skyler Coleman,Tyrell Tavern Coleman and Keagan Michael Coleman in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth Amen…

  7. For all those diverse tongues, and no actual interpretation, only serves to edify oneself. So 10,000 differing tongues all vocalizing together in one place but not in one accord. Who actually gets the blessings from all this confusion, and therefore who is the author……therein lies ur answer…

    • Speaking in “unknown” tongues edifices only oneself, but let all things be done in order. The tongues movement really exploded in the 80’s here in Australia, firstly by a pastor Clark Taylor who established the Christian Outreach Centre charismatic church’s where tongues was the password of entry. Dr Reg Kliminoff from Garden City pentecostal church was following closely behind. The tongues phenomina grew like a strange fire and it’s greatest display of this was at the Toronto Blessing in Canada and Orchestrated by Kenneth Hagan. His antics, including hissing like a serpent and randomly yelling in tongues among the audience, within 1 minute of his ravings people were screaming hysterical in tongues and their bodies were gyrating uncontrollably as if demon possessed. It was even stated that by some religious institutions that if u didn’t speak in tongues that u were not baptised by fire in the Spirit therefore not saved. Some pastors even tried to teach there audience how to speak in tongues by rolling ur tongue to and from and uttering unintelligible words. If someone prophesies in tongues then let that be interpreted as to edify the body…the church. Today the tongues movement has died down by upto 80% in my estimation, I don’t deny the use of tongues…languages in gauging the connection between man and GOD, but it has to be orderly and not baked in confusion. Luckily the gift of Spiritual DISCERNMENT was alive an well but never really encouraged. I have witnessed the Godly effects of speaking in tongues, but also the demonic fallout of chaos an confusion that arose out of this phenomenon.

    • The Bible states they are, (1) Edifying themselves and (2) Glorifying God. Simple. Just stick with the Bible and you will understand tongues in its two uses- one as prophecy when interpreted and the other as edification when spoken directly to God. It’s both/and not either/or.

Think of it just the same if he said, “Everyone give personal praises to God” or “Everyone say a prayer of blessing to God.” Same thing- edifies the one doing it and glorifies God.

1 Corinthians 14:2,4 (NIV), “2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit… 4 Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves.”
