I was born into a Christian family but, staying a Christian was my choice and still is my choice and this movie just reminded me why I'm so thankful for my mom's Christian teachings.
The book was way better it felt like God was in that book they left important things out in the movie very disappointing but still very please with the book I appreciate it
I have been marveled by how much love God showed to his people even though they prostituted themselves with other god's. Jeremiah, Ezekiel all lamented over it.
This is also a biblical portrait of the prophet Hosea, he too was led to marry a prostitute.
I believe its helpful that we look to ourselves. This is how much love we need to be accepting and giving out.
Let's not point to other people, our partners,etc. Look to yourself and your relationship with God, seek his help to love as he intends.

Again I have not read the book so I do not know how true it is to the movie, but I just finished & cried my eyeballs out. Whether a believer or not is tuning into this film, the undeniable love of Jesus is all over this movie. Absolutely incredible. A must watch. Great movie!
I used to love this book. It gave me hope. Now, years later as an adult in a functioning and healthy relationship, I'm seeing all the abuse tactics and stereotypes lauded by Ms. Rivers in this fiction. How can we say kidnapping, labelling, and abuse are what someone who loves us does? I'm sorry, but this movie coming out is just going to revamp purity culture and patriarchy for another generation.
Just finished it… Peacock… Absolutely fabulous. So heartwarming. Every emotion in this movie was shown. The cast is fabulous. I loved the Period of California it showed. Beautiful.
I just watched the movie ..this movie gave me a learning in life…actor is so very good espc. the leadingman Tom lewis… sadly he have no social media account😔 hope this is an open door to him.. really …and the soundtrack of the movie is so fantastic make me feel dramatic and feel hope and courage everytime I hear the songs as like as the purpose of the movie … it is not the kinda romcom movie you like.. I still wish there is a part two for this or another movie together with abegail they have chemistry..🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

This movie was so amazing and beautiful. I haven't seen a romantic movie like this since the notebook. My girlfriend cried her eyes out, and I'm not gonna lie. I lost it a little bit two at the end their which, of course, made my lady cry harder, hahaha, so have a box of tissue's ready.
