  1. The fact that they present the real life issue like debt, medical, family, insurance, work are so relatable. Yeah we are all suffering from it. Its sad that we can't simply tell other how broke we're, coz they are broke too🥲.

  2. What, she couldnt get a 40 hour a week job which by law provides her with health insurance coverage ? She could do that and still work on her music in her spare time. The premise of the show is based a falsehood the same way as the series Breaking Bad where the school teacher doesnt have health insurance or his insurance doesnt cover catastrophic events such as cancer. Everyone knows school teachers and auto workers have the best healthcare in America. Other than that, the chick is a total hottie !!!

  3. Only Americans could create a rom-com puke bucket show, while using the deaths of 1.2 MILLION INNOCENT IRAQIS* purely as a backdrop; something inconsequential. Pure American military propaganda brought to you by Netflix.

    * to be honest, most Americans don't see anyone apart from Americans (very select Americans) as human beings; so its not like Americans care that their "hero" military personnel murdered babies, children, teenagers, men and women with their "freedom and democracy" bombs and bullets.

  4. I can watch this movie over and over again. There was something so touching and special about it. Usually I hate songs in movies but the songs in this movie were probably the best part about this movie – they carried the whole movie and added so much more depth and meaning to the scenes. Definitely a must-watch

  5. I love this movie. It is pretty much spot on with its portrayal of Marines. It reminded me of the stuff I would see when I served. This film received a lot of flack for being "propaganda", but it's pretty much real life. Stuff like this actually happens in Pendleton. These are naive kids that feel invincible until they realize they aren't when they experience war. Though I was looking kind of side-eyed at getting busted for a contract marriage, they saved it because they made it clear someone snitched. That's normally the only way they find out about something like that unless you are unlikable…Or a NCO/SNCO is bored and has an axe to grind.
