Nothing's kills like flattery! Praise is not flattery. Flattery is fake and patronizing. May I never be flattered. If you are no good, work on yourself and keep learning. If you are excellent, it is impossible to stop praise as it is impossible to dodge the rain. Acknowledge it as a gift from God, that's all. But don't discourage it, because it is an exercise in futility. The people are saying the truth and they can't help it. Praise YES. Flattery? Ruuun 😅, because they a paying for what they want from you. It's all about understanding human psychology
