I spent 28 years in the military, numerous deployments and saw death and destruction and what unimaginable horror of what we do to each other in times of war. I survived physically without a scratch but mentally I was a wrecked. People couldn’t see the pain I held inside me. I thought I survived war because of my skills, but it wasn’t me. It was Jesus who saved me. Put my innermost demons out. Gave me peace, I could feel love again, made me human. So I praise The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, The One who sits on the throne above the firmament. All the Power, All the Honor and All the Glory to Him forever and ever.
