The Eucharist has nothing to do with salvation. You don't get to heaven just because you participated in Communion which btw most Protestants do as well. You get to heaven because of the grace of God and faith in him that died for your sins.

I can say only the Bible is infallible, I am saved by imputed righteousness not by infused righteousness, and say Jesus is truly present. So what now? The pope is still not infallible and I still don’t think I can possibly do a single thing to help the blood of Christ atone for my sins
Communion is remembering the sacrifice of Christ with bread and wine. Jesus said, “Do this in rememberance of me.” Jesus never said a priest has to do it, and if you don’t doing it the catholic way then you don’t want Jesus. That’s conflating preferential methods over simple obedience to Jesus.

Eating the flesh and drinking the blood was not the Eucharist. It's laying down you life in Jesus' name. Breaking bread and drinking wine should be done in remembrance of Jesus. Jesus clarified to do it in remembrance. Referring to your heart being pointed in the right direction.
It’s called gate keeping. The Pharisees were well known for this. Always adding things that must be done for someone to receive salvation. Jesus said he who receives me receives my father.
I'm Presbyterian PCA and we have the Eucharist every Sunday. And we believe it's the real presence of Christ, which is why we end every service with it. I don't understand why Catholics act like they are the only ones who revere the Eucharist, which we call the Lord's table. Father Mike was instrumental in bringing me back to Christ through the Bible in a Year podcast, which is excellent. But it brought me home to the Protestant faith, and it was the Lord who led me there.
I have great respect for Catholics and consider them brothers and sisters in Christ. I wish we could end the division.
Well, first of all, the bread and wine are not the true body of Christ like Catholics believe…they are symbolic of the body and blood of Christ. Even Jesus's command that Paul lays out states: "Do this in rememberance of me." It even implies a symbolic meaning not a literal one. I just can't get behind the notion that the consecration transforms the bread and wine supernaturally into the body and blood of Christ. Its literally just a piece of bread and a sip of wine.
I don’t understand why there is some issue with us receiving the Eucharist or communion while being a Protestant. I believe is is the blood and flesh of Christ, so why am I doing it wrong? Please tell me.
I want Jesus but the only way to get Jesus is to invite Him into your heart to be your Lord and Savior. The ‘Eucharist’ cannot save or change a persons unrepentive heart. It gives a false hope that Christ resides in them and that their sins are forgiven. A person must recognize they’re a sinner in need of a Savior, repent of their sin and confess Jesus as Lord and Savior. Only through a personal invitation and relationship with Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit will He secure His eternal and constant presence. Don’t be fooled by ‘religion’ and tradition. Put your trust in Christ’s finished work on the cross then you'll know you have assurance He’ll never leave you!

John 6:53-66 teaches that true life comes from complete participation in Christ-a Union so deep it is described in the language of eating and drinking His very life. Whether one sees that as literal and sacramental (Catholic/Orthodox) or symbolic and faith-centered (Protestant), the meaning is the same. Christ Himself is our sustenance and salvation.
I love the way that Father, Mike preaches and talks, and all that the only thing I have a problem with is saying the rosary with him because he goes too fast, but he tells you that right up front 🙏
