There's no CONTROVERSY on d passing of Apst. Babalola. D CAC has correct FACTS as recounted by Pst. Funso Akande. Baba Omolehin is only being sensational.
There is a clear misunderstanding on the part of Pastor Funsho Akande. He didn't say that Pastor Funsho told him that Apostle Babalola had no covernet. Did he request for one and was he given? He was only making an assertion that Apostle Babalola doesn't count things of this world as material needs. Unlike today, if Pastors are traveling they carry everything that will make them comfortable. There's a difference between what Pastor Fatoyinbo said and what Pastor Omolehin said. One was saying that Apostle Babalola was poor and even his children would hate God. However, Pastor Omolehin was saying that Apostle Babalola didn't count on material things
The account of the great works God did through Apostle Ayo Babalola has been sustained through oral tradition, and available in different books. The book “Africa God’s General” by Moses Oludele Idowu is a great resource. It captures not just the acts of God through Ayo Babalola, but stories of others like Orimolade Tunolashe of C & S, Emmanuel Omotunde, and others. The task before now is how to bring revival upon our land. We are still very far from what our fathers did. Those men walked with God. We are a beneficiary of their labour,it is now our turn for greater works.
I have one useful counsel for Pastor Omolehin. Walk gently else all that you have build over the years will crumble. There has been a lot of superfulous claims and testimonies that you have shared of recent that are not totally true at most.
Somebody commanded snakes to walk away? Another man carried his severed head in his hand, walking away and preaching. And your many so called i,me, me unverifiable testimonies. You have forgotten that we are living in a global village where informations can be verified.
And I noticed sir, you are becoming very boastful and ascribing God's glory to yourself. Lately, to said something like "my church, the church that i built with all i that have got burnt. Your church? You built a church? Sir, softly, softly!
I think Jesus is whom these men of God ought to promote and his soon return. A massive turn off listening to men of God squabbling over insignificance. This ought to be the time to promote the gospel of Christ.

I disagree with Pastor Akande on this. He just reacted to baba Omoleyin without getting the claims and context of baba.I watched a video where the daughter of Late Apostle of blessed memory described how her father's properties were taken(looted) including landed properties.
