He grew up poor in a family of eleven children.

2. Pursue ideas
He attended Oral Roberts University (ORU) where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts, Education, and Theology in 1978.

He got a Master’s degree in administration from the University of Tulsa in 1980.

He was also the recipient of honorary doctoral degrees from various schools of higher education.

    • @SageoftheSixPaths I was just thinking the same thing. I used to be so proud about my ability to work hard until I started hearing this idea about value. Then as I started looking around and thinking about the job I was in and the jobs I had previously been in, it dawned on me that when I worked harder than others, I wasn’t any better rewarded than my colleagues. First heard Robert Kiyosaki talking about how people can work hard all their lives and still be poor. It was upsetting to hear because it kind of shattered my cherished beliefs.
