  1. I love every part of this! It's like having a conversation with you believers who see Paul and his situation and how he handles it. Striving after a place of unity and standing firm in your faith during hard times. Knowing that God will bring fruit out of it and that there is even more planned for you than you think! God desires for relationship with us and it involves dying to ourselves, to our negative mindsets and patterns, and submitting to Him, in the good and the bad. God provides for us. He provides trials, provision, confidence, grace, love, joy, forgiveness, and so much more. It truly is a question of: How are we living? Are we living our lives under God's authority and His will, or are we doing things out of selfish ambition. This chapter shows us to go to God in every season, WITH THANKSGIVING and a heart to know God, sit with Him, and find His love. <3

  2. For me the only time I am like: Yikes, when they are street preaching. Is when they are preaching hell which isnt true. There is no eternal torture, annihilationism is the view, God doesnt torture flawed humans forever + it is also trying to lead people through fear. And fear is not a spirit of God. It just saddens me because I have had friends who turned away from their faith because they grew up with parents who constantly preached hell and torment to them. So their childhood was filled with fear and trauma. I am trying to slowly change their heart towards God and make them realise this isnt Gods doing or will, but their parents. But its not easy… When someone is on the street tho preaching the gospel and such, I like it 🙂
But what Paul is saying is cool. Like he does condemn their hearts and why they do it, their reasoning, it happening from sinful thoughts like pride or rivalry. But he rejoices that the gospel is still preached. It doesnt justify their hearts and reasons, but its still great people are hearing about Jesus.

  3. I wanna help you guys, Paul was in a house imprisonment at Rome, yet even though He was imprisoned, The Gospel was not withheld instead of Paul spread in the whole palace: he was able to preach to compelled people (soldiers' hand tied up with Paul's hand), he even preached by chance; he had different visitors.
