It was a clever way of lifting themselves above God. I replied that their own end had come. If they were to see me I'm sure they would have said, Who be this mumu? Recently Funke Akindele has made the same statement. When she was running for Deputy Governorship of Lagos nobody was looking at her when she went to church. We are watching.

Not long ago Peter Obi said if he became president he would try to stop vigils in church. I laughed. Obi does not even love himself like we love him but he has to control his utterances concerning spiritual. His victory will entirely depend on God. If we have done all that we have done and and it is still this way imagine that we stop praying for just one day.
God never asked his church to obey oppressive laws. We are to pay taxes, obey traffic rules, get drivers licences, go out for sanitation, obey curfews, step aside for the president to drive past etc. We are not to stop preaching.
