The scriptures says, false prophets will make mechandice of people. I wonder how one can sell house and become homelss by giving up his or her house, i do not know what kind of spell or witchcraft have been done on someone to do such things. She should go to the police and report that the church promise her such sacrifice in return for Gods blessings which has never come, so that church should return her money. In the US you can get a lawyer to get back your money.
As far as I know the Father takes care of the shepherd through the congregation who gives to the Father, not the shepherd shepherding the flock. People need to read & study the Bible to see what Father wants, what is His Will, & by seeking the Kingdom first, all else will be added unto us as believers. The Biblical principle of the Tabernacle & what needs being done & not being done as well as the Temple built later, is an example of what God wants. All is explained there. Just now, sacrifices is made different. We are giving sacrifices of praise & thanksgiving now, instead of slaughtering animals & birds. And the tenth of all finances received is still a principle God is expecting. It's not much He is asking. Even a tenth of our time. It's not much He is asking. Commanding. He gave His all to us, He gave His Son, so why is a tenth of everything so much to ask for? Is it because the LOVE OF MONEY became the root of all evil? That people want, but don't want to follow the simple instruction in the form of a command? How selfish can people be? Also, how deceived can people be by listening to ungodly shepherds pushing the button of feeling awkward because you can't give what is commanded by a human being claiming to be speaking on the Fathers behalf? We need to sincerely read & study the Bible to know exactly what is expected as followers of Christ so no supposed to be shepherd can lead astray. Blessings to all.
A genuine pastor wouldn't go to listen to another sermon to take notes regardless of the situation. You can do it part-time, also, the problem is they justify getting rich from tithes and offerings instead of being content with a modest offering/salary and sharing the rest with those in need!!!!

The truth is that God honors giving and giving works saints of God. We cannot under any circumstance write off the truth based on people who twisted the scriptures. Secondly, saints of God we need to also understand that sometimes people give under emotions and expect God to blesa them. If nothing happens we now blame the servants of God. We have genuine people who gave and God blesses them without any lies. Myself I have given several times and have seen God blessing me supernaturally. Thirdly, we truly have ministers who have scammed people that God will only bless you when give sacrificially like this did. Now, this calls for wisdom and maturity church of God.
Just very, very painful hearing. Surely it's not God's desire that we give up to completely draining ourselves. Giving is there in the Bible, but doing so cheerfully and not grudgingly, as God loves a cheerful giver.
Jesus has warned already that false prophets, pastors are everywhere and spread false teaching. Let God deal with them, but importantly to pray for them to repent, before it's too late. 🙏
