I attended Dunamis Area 1 as an unbelieving regular church goer from 2016 till 2018 when I left Nigeria.
Got saved a year before I relocated to the UK which meant I carried on attending Dunamis a year after I got saved because it was the best of a terrible bunch of prosperity gospel mega-churches in Abuja and even as a new believer, I knew it was better to go to a church where I heard a few Biblical things rather than no church at all.
From a Charismatic leaning small high street church in the East of England, to the most solid and Biblical Reformed Baptist church in Plymouth – Jesus led me all the way.
Mine story is testament to the fact that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone. Christ the GOOD Shepherd will save His own even in the midst of false teachings but He never leaves His own mired in false teachings – His Holy Spirit brings us to a right understanding of His Holy Word and draws us OUT of places of unsound teaching.
Before I got saved, I’d disagree with some of Enenche’s teachings because they seemed manipulative and boastful. Now, I CANNOT stand the man.
Mind you, Dunamis is the product of American Prosperity Gospel exported to Africa.
