If you are still disciplining your adult children, then you didn't do your work when they were little. Even our Father in heaven allows us "free will". You cannot force an adult to do what you want. When will they grow up and have a mind of their own? How are they expected to take initiative for themselves and their family? This shows that the GO is a control freak and authoritarian. Very sad, I must say.
The whole leadership and management should be disciplined not the new wedded couple, why because intended couple are to come with their wedding dresses both the best man and the bridesmaid and present themselves to the marriage committee (completely dressed on their outfits) for scrutiny a week or two before the wedding day, and other guidelines, manners, and procedures are given that day, marriage committee are there to monitor the processes and are to be there in the waiting room correct abnormalities before they appear to the hall. That is how it is done, i passed through that process too during my wedding in Deeper life Church. So it is the Church and the whole marriage committee management that should be disciplined for not doing their job well. If you do cut and nail wedding you receive cut and nail experience.
For me the wedding gown is okay as for those of you that thinks she's showing off body you all should be dressing like the way the Muslim women dresses. So that the all world will see that your church is the church that those not want any woman to send the wrong message with the way they dresses
With all due respect, Clearly if you still feel the need to discipline your ADULT children publicly, then you clearly failed as a parent!! I love, honor and immensely respect my father! But this kind of fear that some of these parents use to control their children is definitely not biblical it rather sounds like they want their children to fear them, worship them and not God!! Some of these so called “men of God” want to share the glory with God!!! Lord have mercy upon us all!!
