Itโs a business, a legal organization registered as a business, to make money. Not business disguised as ministry, itโs a clearly defined as a business.
Itโs just like telling a Christian doctor or a Pastor thatโs a medical doctor to make all his services free bc he is a Christian or a Pastor. No, heโll exchange value for money and decide what heโll give for free willingly based on his walk with God.
The fact that the business started by a pastor doesnโt change anything, itโs still a businessโฆand a business makes money, bc thatโs what businesses do.
Listening to Pastor Okonkwo I understood better why he is doing this business. The business is define, it is not a church platform. I commend his courage .
I see Christians fighting against one another because we sometimes believe there is only one pattern, one method, or one particular way we are going to "take the world by storm." We talk about Christians leading every industry, every sector, and every sphere of society, yet sometimes we spend more energy fighting ourselves than actually building, creating, serving, and solving problems.
Look at the world today. Technology has advanced tremendously. Every industry is evolving, including areas like matchmaking, relationships, finance, healthcare, education, entertainment, and many others. The question should not simply be, "Why has the world gone so far?" but rather, How can the Church bring godly values, wisdom, excellence, and innovation into these spaces?
Jesus said:
"You are the light of the world": Matthew 5:14
And He also said:
"You are the salt of the earth": Matthew 5:13
Salt and light are meant to have an influence where they are placed. We should therefore encourage Christians to enter every legitimate industry with excellence, integrity, creativity, and a desire to serve humanity, not merely with the ambition to โtake over,โ but with the desire to make a positive difference.
The Bible says, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might" Ecclesiastes 9:10.
We also need to understand that change does not happen overnight. Building something meaningful takes time. Transformation takes patience, wisdom, learning, collaboration, and consistency. We shouldn't condemn someone simply because their approach looks different from ours.
Paul reminds us:
"I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth."1 Corinthians 3:6
Different people may have different assignments, methods, and seasons, but ultimately, God is the One who gives the increase.
One of the things that concerns me is when we teach or argue from sentiment rather than from the leading of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes we become so convinced that our method is the only method God can use that we begin to attack other believers who are doing things differently.
And even among preachers and ministers, disunity has become a serious issue.
The Bible tells us:
"Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.": Ephesians 4:3
Unity does not mean that everyone must think exactly the same way. It means that despite our differences in approach, personality, denomination, strategy, or assignment, we recognize that we are part of one body.
There is room for different expressions, different ideas, different innovations, and different approaches, as long as Christ remains at the center.
We need Christians in technology. We need Christians in finance. We need Christians in healthcare. We need Christians in education. We need Christians in media. We need Christians in entertainment. We need Christians building businesses and solving real-world problems.
Not just to occupy positions, but to serve, influence, create, innovate, and demonstrate the values of God's Kingdom.
The world does not need Christians fighting Christians over who has the "right" strategy. It needs Christians who are willing to build.
May God give us wisdom, humility, unity, creativity, and the grace to recognize that **His Kingdom is bigger than our individual methods.
And may we learn to disagree without destroying one another, build without competing unnecessarily, and influence the world without losing the love of Christ.
The fact that many critics won't get the full details of a matter before jumping into conclusion baffles me alot. Even the criticism is not from the place of love. One can only sense self righteousness, envy and maliciousness. May God help His church.
