Chris, you don’t know the Bible and you’re a liar. You have forgotten in the Bible when Jesus Christ said to Peter upon this Rock I will establish my church. Peter was killed in Rome and buried in Rome and the church was built on St Peter’s tomb. That’s the reason why the church headquarter is in Rome. Don’t deceive people Chris.
Rcc is a cult, not any ordinary cult, it's the institution described in rev 17 and 18. Such pastorslike Chris speak man's wisdom not rev 2 and 3. You can't congratulate the anti Christ institution rcc for a new pope unless you're with them. Deception of ecumenism
The papal infallibility does not mean the pope can do no wrong.. it means he’s infallible when he makes a binding ex cathedra.. meaning when he seats on the chair of Peter and that has only been done twice.. the Catholic Church is not a denomination, it’s pre-denominational, meaning it existed before the term.
If I may ask when will this man stop the evil business as churches him and his type have used to enrich themselves and their families why Nigeria without meaning in his language is nothing to write home about or means of bringing in members so that there will be more money and material things private jet and expensive cars 🚗
You are supposed to be educated and as a leader speak from the detail of the truth. From a scholastic point, your historical background of the early church and the apostolic succession is absolutely wrong. Peter exterblished and headed the three Patrine churches and head them one after the other. He went to Rome and head the church as the bishop of Rome and there he was martyred. Paul was brought into Rome to be martyred, while you view that as disgrace we view that as part of divine plan to bring the two great apostles to the same place where Jesus Christ wills to exterblish His throne o earth. Those who are ignorant of the true history of the early church will now start spreading your none definite story are the truth. I refute your story and i kindly ask you Pastor Chris to go back to your study room for clearer knowledge or if by any change you are hiding the real truth, please repent and speak the truth for the love of God. Thank you.
Christianity could not have been wiped out. But there was a great persecution, and then a Roman Emperor came with an Edict of Milan. Just being a better History student solves it all
1) Papal Infallibility does not mean the Pope cannot be wrong
2) Yes there was corruption in the Church but Luther took it too far and actually preached doctrines that are against Christianity, causing the Church to split
3) The Catholic Church never "split." The Eastern Orthodox (wgat he's probably referring to as "Constantinople" are in schism
4) I agree with the essential doctrines he mentioned. However I'd like to know if Pastor Chris think Baptism with water is necessary for salvation… because that was a universal Christian belief that is now being rejected today.
Finally, I'd like to ask everyone and anyone who reads this comment: how do Christians resolve a disagreement on the interpretation of Scripture? Do they agree to disagree? Do they split into different denominations? Did Jesus give us a way to resolve this issue? Thank you and God bless you
Peter was an apostle of Jesus Christ and the first pope of Rome, where he lived for about 25 years until his death by crucifixion. He lived and preached in different areas of the city, and these places often correspond to sacred sites to be discovered during a visit to Rome.
Hhhh welll my only comment is that we know Peter did Preach alongside with Paul in Rome with the writing of early church fathers like St. Ignatius… And St. Augustine
I'm a Catholic, Maronite Catholic. We are in communion with the full Catholic body. We use Syriac rites not Roman. But peter is truly the first Bishop of Rome. He pastored there as he did in antioch and Alexandria in Egypt. The Pope is the true ambassador of christ in ministerial matters as all baptized catholics are called to be christ reps in the common level
You got a few things right but I hear a few deliberate times you shy away from the truth. The Apostles were happy to witness in Rome even with their blood. Rome does not give a bad memory; it rather was a symbol of courage for the Church. The blood of Christians like that of Christ were shed for the spread of the Gospel. Your idea of Papal infallibility is wrong too. Just google it.
If the Bible is truly the sole authority for Christian faith and practice, on what biblical basis do you reject the visible, sacramental Church Christ founded when He said, ‘You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church’ (Mt 16:18)? Can a Church truly remain Christ’s Body while being separated from apostolic succession, the Eucharist, and the unity of faith guarded by the Magisterium—those very elements the earliest Christians lived and died for?
You are also wrong about Pope's infallibility. Please study and possibly meet a catechist or a catholic priest for extra information before you come on line to discuss such historical matters.
I dont know your denomination, by the way imagine your denomination is Electing a leader… we all know what will be the outcome ….. I dont why you are criticising others faith… please preach good news to the people so that everyone gets inspire instead..
Infaillibility only concerns Catholic teaching and yes the Pope is a sinner like the rest of us, his responsibility is making sure that the faith is not corrupted. The reason you have 40000 thousand different protestants faiths is because they all have there own different interpretation of the bible its what you call confusion
Pastor Chris you tried for defining the word Catholic but I want you to know that that there are two Catholics bodies: the western and the eastern church. The western Catholic are all churches in the west of Rome while the Eastern catholic church are the churches in the eastern part and the east of Rome like Ukrainian Catholic church. The Western Catholic liturgy is in Latin. All the churches are within the Primacy of the Pope. That is why during the inauguration and installation of the Pope they all came to pay allegiance to the New Pope. All pay allegiance to the Pope. You are misleading people about the Catholic church and what is meant by the Pope is infallible: it means in matters of faith the Pope cannot make mistakes

WOW so many errors in this video but I don’t blame him. I blame those who believe him without doing their own research.

He has no idea just piecing together the bits he has gathered.😊
@6:07, issue of Constantinople have been in place since the council of Nicene

A church that has existed for 2000 years is being studied by someone how created and founded his own church 😂😂😂😂

How long did Peter stay in Rome?
about 25 years

You, Chris, should focus on the people the follow you and leave Christian history to those who live the faith and the history.
Your lack of understanding of the basics of Church history is apparent in this misconceived interpretation….
You got a few things right but I hear a few deliberate times you shy away from the truth. The Apostles were happy to witness in Rome even with their blood. Protestants talk about selling indulgence yet today they are greatest sellers of indulgence shamelessly. 😂😂

Pope just not just mean Father or Papa. It is beyond that. It means everything Peter meant for Christ and His church.
The head, and the one given the KEYS. The one upon whom Christ has built his church.

Beautiful 😊
Anglicanism, founded by a Caligola King Henry Tudor 700 years ago, is entering into an irreversibile final crisis

I'm so proud to be a catholic thank you God for your precious gift
As as a Pastor you can be more knowledgeable however, the presentation is not upto to the mark
He look like a Lionel Richie

1:30 but why would Peter and Paul go to Rome just to be killed? Does the Bible talk about their motivations?
Someone who does not know anything trying to explain something
Thank you pastor Chris for your labour in God's vineyard

What about the crucifixion of Jesus?
Is it wrong to remember it because it is painful.
They killed Peter and Paul in Rome. Who does the word "they" refer to? Who killed Peter and Paul?
That another person's way is inimical and contrary to our Christ depends on your interpretation of "inimical" and "contrary."
You think you know something? One day you will find out you are so empty then you will remember someone told so
Pope alone can't make any decision all should be done with union of the bishops and cardinals.
Pastor study the Church father then you will know who is against the teaching of Christ.
