Unequally yoked couple go different paths in life than leads to pain. One wants to go to a social event/club that the other doesnβt. It is usually at those events that the break up of the marriage starts. The unbeliefing/wicked/immature partner doesnβt defend the partner in family gatherings. Unequally yoked marriage is not okay β disobedience to Godβs wisdom/word is the bedrock for a lifetime of abuse/neglect and the children born into the marriage are sad/depressed as a result of the hell of marriage. Only God can show mercy.
The church (Pastors/Sunday School Minsters/Christian Parents, etc) needs to start teaching the Wisdom of God in Bible Truth of not being unequally yoked very early in age-appropriate forms of children (as early as PreTeens). Accepting this teaching as Young adults is more challenging because soul-ties are harder to break. With God all things are possible and may the Spirit of God help us in Jesus name, Amen
Some unequally yoked marriages occur because of lack of discernment β the unbeliever was deceptive (pretending throughout the courtship period that he was a believer) and the Christian was not able to see the deception. Marriage then becomes the eye-opener and a sad institution that the believer feels trapped in.
May the Light of God shine into our hearts and give understanding that we may see clearly and be sensitive to obey God in Jesus name, Amen
