Many people say the Thief on the Cross next to Jesus was not Baptized in water in Jesus Name yet Jesus told him he would be with Him that day in Paradise. When the thief was on the cross (Matthew 27:38, Luke 23:39, Mark 15:27-43) Jesus had not yet given the COMMANDMENT to be baptized in his NAME. Jesus said in Mark 16:16, "He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be Saved, he that believes not shall be damned." At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19, "Go therefore and teach all nations BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not names) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used those words when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time Jesus disciples baptized any one in water they invoked Jesus Name at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 22:16 (Paul's Baptism).
Jesus did not give the COMMANDMENT to be baptized in his Name until later after he rose from the dead and just before he ascended into heaven. The thief or anyone else at that time could not have been baptized in Jesus Name because they did not know about it.

If you do that you will be making SURE your name is written in the Lamb's Book Of Life.

For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They repented, were baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, Acts 2:38! Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead and walking in the newness of life. That's what Acts 2:38 is. It harmonizes with Matthew 28:19, and all the other salvation scriptures. We can't pick and choose which scriptures we like or dislike. We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ… Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOTH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT for a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter the kingdom of GOD. We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS, and the other is a WORK OF FAITH or OBEDIENCE TO GOD. If I buy you a cake and tell you to come to get it, and you refuse to, then you won't have the cake even though it's been fully paid for. Christ set up the way, and we must come the way he set up to be saved or to receive it. Noah believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN WORKED OR OBEYED TO BUILD THE ARK TO BE SAVED. LOT believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN OBEYED AND LEFT SODOM. This is why Jesus said, He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. FAITH EQUALS OBEDIENCE TO GOD! All scriptures have to harmonize together ..
My mom always watched Billy Graham everytime he came on the TV, unless she was in church which was 3 times a week. I was young and wanted to see the world, a sinner not wanting to live her and dad's life. But as years went by I got tired of the partying and went back to church, I got saved and live for Christ now. I feel like a load has been taking out of my heart to make room for Christ. Now it's a soft load. Life for me is easier to deal with thanks to my parents who took me to church 3 times a week. I had missed it so many years. Than you Lord for coming back into my heart 🙏💞 MOM and DAD are both gone now, but I love watching Billy Graham now. Thank you Mr. Graham for spreading his word. The Lord said before he comes back the whole word will know his name. God Bless Us All. AMEN 🙏💞
I need prayers there is no doubt. This newest generation worries me. I remember when Billy Graham would come on TV in 70's and 80's we would gather around the TV. I saw my loving, funny Grandpa get serious and quiet when Mr. Graham was on TV so I watched. Wish this generation could hear Gods word but the internet etc….clouds everything up. Love you all
Father, I ask that you wrap your arms around our Brother’s and Sister’s here this morning.. Please talk to them and bring guidance into their lives with your word.. Father, I ask that you please bring healing into their lives, healing from any sickness, disease, mental illness, and confusion, healing from hurt and pain, healing from any drugs, alcohol, and tobacco, healing from hunger, healing from homelessness, healing from worry, anxiety, and depression, healing from anything else that may bring harm to their body and homes.. Father, I ask that you please provide for any assistance or needs that they may have and I ask that you please bring blessings into their lives so that they may be a blessing for others.. That's my Grandpa at 12:08 on the left corner with black hair. I was watching one evening and saw him! He's gone to heaven now but it was nice to see him. My Grandma would have been beside him too. Out of all those people! ❤
My life is filled with sorrows and problems and my heart is filled with full of evil thoughts and prayers for me lord can save our life he is the way and light and path for our life please lord save me from demons and I must reborn again in Christ Jesus is my saviour pray 🙏🙏🙏🙏
