Being the boss put him in a position to fire his secretary because he can’t stand the temptation. Another option would have been for him to ask God to better control himself ( which I think is what Obi is saying) but he chose to do it this way. Christianity is a journey maybe that’s what he can do at his level of spiritual growth. God will see his heart and his purpose for his action and He will surely provide a better job for the secretary.
