  1. Abstain from all appearance of evil.

    1 Thessalonians 5:22
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

    James 4:7 KJV
So Joseph would have stayed in the room with potiphars wife so he won't disrespect his Boss??🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Really we shouldn't even argue about somethings.
Whatever will cause you to fall cut it off…..🙌🙌.

  2. Obinuju is a complete hypocrite. If it was your husband that is being tempted by his secretary or your househelp what will be your judgement. He employed her and can fire her if she becomes a tool that satan wants to pollute his image or tanish his Christian testimony. The pastor has done the right thing before God.

  3. Interesting topic…let me begin by answering obiajulu…yes! he will resign if being in the office will cause him to sin. People handle temptation the best way they could. Being the boss put him in a position to fire his secretary because he can’t stand the temptation. Another option would have been for him to ask God to better control himself ( which I think is what Obi is saying) but he chose to do it this way. Christianity is a journey maybe that’s what he can do at his level of spiritual growth. God will see his heart and his purpose for his action and He will surely provide a better job for the secretary. We can only do our part, we can’t always carry everyone along (and is not selfish) That’s why we have God who carry’s everyone along. I’m sure if the lady is truly a born again Christian she will truly appreciate his decision.
    I love you ladies

  4. Very myopic analysis. You ladies are giving men excuses to sack women for existing and doing their business. Women are already short changed in Nigeria and you are supporting more prejudices against women? This conversation should have been elevated from centering men’s penises to the woman’s perspective. The woman loses terribly. Morayo, Mariam, Nyma, imagine you coming tomorrow, and whoever your boss is, is saying, you are being sacked, just like that. How will you take care of your family? What if she’s a single mother, a single woman, an orphan, that has no husband or no one to fall back on? Is that a CHRISTIAN thing to do to fire her with reckless abandon? Also taking into cognizance the high rates of unemployment in Nigeria? The Bible says flee, you are the one to flee. If your eyes causes you to sin, it says cut it off. Now no one has cut off their eyes yet, but we get the gist from this scripture that the onus is on the person who is with lust to flee and NEVER to attack the person that is causing you to sin according to biblical logic. You women need to be more kinder to yourself and the collective woman. You think men will support a female boss firing her male secretary on flimsy grounds that she’s attracted to him when we have HIGH unemployment rates? Please let’s be real in this our economy where unemployment rates are skyrocketing. We can’t be justifying playing with people’s livelihood.

  5. People have different tolerant levels because their level of hormones that drive them are different. Lust is like anger, it is driven by hormones so the issue is his not the lsdy's. That same lsdy would work for another man and he will not be attracted to her.
The action of letying her go is to save both the lady and the man from trouble because a PA is very close to the boss.
David destroyed a family because of what he saw that attracted him.
The guy could just have kept quiet and be burning and lusting.
The lady now know what the guy is going thru on a daily basis and she should appreciate the fact that he did not infuence her to commit sin which is very possible

  6. Listen to educated Nigerian women agreeing with their pastor who said that if their manager catches feelings for them, it's ok for the manager to sack them because they are tempting him. … SMDH …

  7. The Bible says to ''flee from all appearances of evil…''i agree with pastor Adeboyes advice, he is my Father in the Lord, and a true man of God. However, will the man keep sacking all female workers? The issue is the Bible in Galasians talks about the ''friut of the spirit'', Self control!! While he should work on that, I applaud him for speaking out!!! For every sin the Bible says God has mad a way of escape. But, many fail to take it!!!

  8. Hmmm. Very interesting. Well he should be able to deal with his emotions. If not been able, letting her go quietly would have been the proper thing to do and not a public show. Making this a public issue is going to attract some compensation for illegally laying off the lady. She can sue him. If this was in America he will be sued for illegally laying her off. People should be diplomatic and learn to keep their personal issues out of public eyes. I dont know when we will ever know our rights as employees. The lady was treated badly for no fault of hers

  9. Gosh !!! So dumb an argument. Please I hope you wld like to be fired because you boss is interested in you. Even the bible said if your eyes causes you to sin remove your eyes not the eyes of the other person. He shld work on his emotions

  10. Tvc people how come nobody is talking about why d man looks forward to seeing his secretary meaning he’s not happy in his marriage n nothing is even said about that to fix d root of his problem with his wife

  11. He could be sued though now that the reason is in the open. Unless the lady is aware of the reason she's been discharged / fired. By the way we don't know in what way the lady got him exited or is it just out of lust. Did he confront her to put an end to the whatever is going on ?or address it with her to know what she's thinking? Unless that lust/ temptation or the occus pocus whatever is dealt with spiritually, he could still be fantasizing about her even after she left anyway or he could have that feeling with another woman. Its not fair if the woman is dismissed if she is not aware of the reason or the cause of the exitment feelings for her. If she is innocent, she will never forgive him. God searches our hearts. We should guide it with all diligent.

  12. I’m shocked that Nima says the pastor did the right thing given her background in law and equity. Please Nima have you ever lost a job abruptly before? I bet you haven’t cos you work be taking like this. Always put your self in others people’s shoes. Besides what will Jesus do in this instance I bet you Jesus won’t sack the lady and the Bible says flee, flee means run, so the responsibility is on you to run. And the Bible advices to cut of your members if they’re cause you to sin . The temptation will always be there but you’re advised to run from it. Ok what if he was catching feelings for a church member ? Will he send the lady away from the church? What if the lady was his neighbor? Will be evict her from the building? Let’s be realistic here please and stop talking like people who don’t have a heart. We all know the situation of employment in Nigeria please. If sacking her is the only option he thinks of then she should be compensated .

  13. This video was just recommended to me. I felt it was important to respond.

The mindsets of all the women on the panel barring Obiajulu, is very worrying. Responding in 2021, you are saying in reverse, that all rape cases have been committed by people who had no control of themselves and rather than remove the offender or have him remove himself, you are justifying him causing hardship and financial strife to someone who knew nothing about what is on his leery mind!! Really.

You are giving a disturbing view of men as being, "beasts", "involuntarily" disposed to criminality or sexual deviance unless what triggers that loin response is removed at any cost to the victim…Wow. That entitlement mindset is the reason many of our mothers and sisters have been raped & dismembered with impunity in the North for over ten years and now tolerance like yours has bought it to the South. Welldone.

  14. Dont you guys have employment law in Nigeria? Apart from the ibo lady, all the other ladies are very daft. Adults are and should be able to control themselves· Nigeria is in the dark ages if these are the opinion moulders in the country· Can you imagine the world listening to these rubbish from these ladies· How can a lady be sacked from her job because of a man's lack of control.Totally bonkers. The only intelligent one amongst them is the ibo girl· I dont know her name

  15. Ladies you completely disappointment. You are all discriminating against women. You are encouraging abuse of women. Well educated people like you to blame a woman for a mans lack of self-control. Shame
