  1. This quote might upset some people. I do apologize if that brings emotion absent thought: The context of this quote is not that your mother doesn't. Love you. The context is that if you're an unsaved person and your mother who's been in heaven knows that you're unsaved, she would not let you in even if she had the opportunity to judge your heart. Because those who have been in heaven and those who love the Savior know how unharmonious and how miserable an unsaved person would be in the halls of the almighty. And how a person that does not have faith in the Savior would have no place reason. Joy or passion to be in those very places they now reside. When I read this quote a long time ago. It hit me like a bag of bricks. Because I realized very much that he's correct. And I asked myself is my faith actually built on a foundation. That means that I take joy in the Lord. That I actually have a faith that wants to be in the presence of God and not merely just thanking God for giving me parents that actually like him. Is that faith? Is having parents and a lineage of those who actually love Christ is that Faith? I don't think so. But again, I'm only a human sinner trying my best to become a better representative of Christ from this Earth. Though I fail miserably everyday. Please don't take these words in error or think this is some mean ploy. This is merely a thought exercise about what going to heaven or at least having real faith looks like.
